The crew just completed our backyard demolition and we are so happy with the work! They removed very thick aggregate, concrete, a bunch of bricks, and plant material. They did a great job in a short amount of time. It was hard work and I was very impressed. The crew hauled everything away and left the space very clean. I recommend this company!

We needed to demolish our backyard shed, haul away broken concrete pieces and several other random things. Andrew was the guy that came out to give estimate. He was very nice and provided me with a fair estimate. I really liked that he was available via email and text because I was able to send him pictures after his visit and asked for estimate for more work to be done.  

The crew showed up on time and worked very hard to get rid of everything that we asked for. One of the guys was really funny. I was recording a part of the demolition and when one big piece came off, he asked "What you think?!" My response was "Awesome!"

When the crew finished their work, they cleaned up and they showed me their finished work. I was very satisfied with the price and the services. Would definitely hire them again for any demolition and hauling.

Hurricane Hauling exceeded all my expectations. I had my front yard demo'd and they were precise, affordable and got the job done. The owner Paul was extremely professional and the employees were great to work with. I would never use anyone else to do a demo.  I don't post often, but these guys were seriously great

I normally absolutely loathe doing any type of construction because so many factors go into the process and their are often delays and complications along the way. I was super pleased with the demolition work Hurricane Hauling did. Their bid was the lowest and their professional crew came in and worked hard for 4 days and finished the job. I have never experienced anything construction related to be so smooth. I asked the owner for referrals for the next phase of the project because I want to work with other contractors who are professional, skillful and timely. You will not be disappointed with this team!

Hurricane has done two demolition jobs for me and I could not be happier. They work fast and clean and they are meticulous down to the last detail.  Their guys are really careful and thorough and so pleasant to deal with. The crew of Alex, Luis, Kerby, Elias and Jhony demolished my kitchen (a big job that involved removing a huge brick structure and taking up layers of flooring) and carefully removed three walls of vintage redwood panelling so that we could reuse it later. They left my house cleaner than they found it. They really are the best. I will never use another company.

Hurricane Hauling was recommended by people we trust to haul debris after renovating a cottage, and I am happy to recommend Hurricane Hauling to others.  At first, I had some problems getting Hurricane Hauling to return my phone calls and a message sent via their website, so eventually I reached out to the company via the email address listed on their website.  I immediately received a call from Lyndsey who booked an appointment for someone to come out to do an estimate.  We were so eager to have the debris hauled that we were willing to pay an extra $125.00 fee to have the work done on a Saturday.  When we scheduled the Saturday appointment, I told Lindsey to call us if anything in their schedule changed so we could have the hauling done sooner.  Lindsey remembered and called us when an earlier appointment became available which we really appreciated.  The gentleman who did the estimate was personable and efficient.  The estimate also was lower than we expected.  Alex, Korby, Allan, and Sereno made up the terrific crew who did the hauling.  My husband and I could not be more pleased.  Before Hurricane Hauling had been recommended to us, we planned to rent a dumpster and hire guys to help us fill it.  Turning the work over to Hurricane Hauling truly was some of the best advice we have been given.

I had the pleasure of serving Hurricane Hauling for T shirts.  I have been in the T shirt business here in Marin for 25 years.  They are some of the nicest people I have the pleasure of serving. I am sure they must do a great job as they are caring professional and sooooo positive.  the office manager, Lindsey is just wonderful.

After a few attempts at playing phone tag I called their main number several times hoping to get though (believing that is was a switch board given that it appears to be a larger firm).    Eventually someone answered and was extremely rude, demanding to know why I had called three times.    At that point I lost interest in hiring Hurricane for anything.    

If you are going to use your cell-phone as the primary contact number for your company you should be more courteous!

I decided to get two prices for the removal of about 4 cu yds of demolition debris.  The first service I called gave me a price (which seemed a little high), and the second felt that the quantity was more than they were prepared to handle, and thankfully referred us to Hurricane Hauling and Demolition (H.H. & D).  

I sent H. H. & D photos to give them an idea of the scope.  They we very quick to send back a very reasonable quote, and when I gave them the green light, scheduled a pick-up for the following week.  I was then in contact with a very nice woman named Lyndsey who told me that a truck was going to be in our neighborhood that day and offered  to schedule an early pick-up.  They came out that afternoon, on time, dealt with a tricky parking situation and did an amazing job of clearing away the mess and even doing clean-up after.

Basically it boiled down to this:  A quote that was 60% compared to another highly rated service, saw an opportunity to come early (same day as the approved quote!), were punctual, friendly, conscientious, efficient, thorough, and left the site in pristine condition.  Not much more I can say than Wow!  Thanks!

We had to remove a large amount of brush/downed tree stumps/Scotch broom from our property to comply with defensible space and fire code requirements. Much of it was in a steep area with somewhat difficult access; in addition, we were doing other work on our home, so coordination with other trucks/contractors in our driveway was needed. I was worried that this would all be stressful, but Paul's crew, led by Alex, did a fantastic job. Paul and Alex were easy to communicate with, asked questions when needed to make sure that they didn't take out anything we wanted to leave and likewise to be sure that they were doing enough to meet our requirements, and were flexible to do a change order when we discovered addition material that needed to be removed under all that brush. The entire crew was hardworking and professional, and coordinated helpfully with the other contractors.

What I thought would be a crazy few days went incredibly smoothly. We'll look forward to using this local, green-certified, professional business again in the future should the need arise.

I hired this company to clean-out my mother-in-law's house. These guys pulled up the carpet that was at least 30 years old.They were great. They arrived on time, they were friendly and they left the house in "order", i.e., I didn't have to clean the house after they were done. These guys are not cheap...you get what you pay for. I'd hire them again.

Have used Hurricane Hauling over the past few years for furniture dump, etc. They always arrive on time, are quick, and reliable. The website has a guide for measuring cubic footage, so the quote is solid. If a couch can be recycled, they even offer a discount.

Hurricane Hauling and Demolition did an amazing job. The first time they came and hauled all the junk out of my yard (from old trash to tree limbs)  and recently they came back and took care of 1200 lbs of oak that fell during our last storm with chain saws and trimmers. Both times they did an amazing job.
Their fleets all run on biodiesel, they are a certified green business, and they recycled everything that could be recycled.
The had great customer service, and I got 15% off my first job since I was a first time customer!
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hauling job, and I really like supporting companies that put something back into the community, like all the green practices they strive to do.

They were courteous, careful and efficient.  The best part is that they are honest -- I under estimated the size of my debris by accident but they honored their phone quote plus were very polite and respectful.  I will definitely use them again on my renovation project.  What a pleasure using their service!!!  A terrific company!!!

As a high-quality, highly-organized general contractor, it's unusual for us to find specialty subcontractors who are a good fit and at our level. Paul and David are smart,easy-going analysts, their rates are competitive, they manage their crews and production well, and were fair with us when it came to the inevitable change orders. I highly recommend Hurricane Hauling without reserve.

We hired Hurricane Hauling to clean out decades worth of junk from the house of a relative who'd passed away.  A couple days later, they called and said they found a small container of family photos...and 263 euros in a ziploc baggie.  My family was incredibly impressed that Hurricane Hauling not only sorted through everything they took away, but they had the honesty and decency to tell us about the pictures and money.  They didn't have to do this--we wouldn't have known about the money if they hadn't said anything. We are having them come back to tackle the garage.

These guys were great. I had them remove a cement planter from a central atrium in my home and it was reinforced with rebar, which made it a tough job. Paul is very professional and great to deal with. He sent a crew of four guys and they worked their tails off with jackhammers, etc. on a hot day and had it done in about 4 1/2 hours. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards, were polite and considerate. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering what a tough job it was. I'd call them again and will recommend them at every opportunity.

I am a general contractor who has used Paul and David's company, Hurricane Hauling and Demolition for many years. In putting a proposal together for our clients their ability to give prompt and accurate estimates is essential. When you see the same faces on their crew year after year it builds trust. They are careful, upbeat, and always finish on time. On top of all of these great qualities they are green. They were green a long time ago. If you are a contractor whose labor pool is smaller than it once was, David and Paul have the manpower to help you be profitable. My superintendents love these guys. If you are a home owner who honey do this is two pages give them a call. Once you use them I promise you will have them on speed dial.

I have worked with this company since 2000.   I have been impressed with their work ethic and with the professionalism of the owners.  First of all, they use biodiesel fuel for all their trucks, and a very green company. Their employees do the work in a timely and courteous manner, and take great care to clean thoroughly and to ask questions when they are unsure.  In fact, the owners are very honest and do a fair, truthful estimate of work. They recycle all materials and have done extra hauling/recycling without charging!  I have used them at least 5 times over the years and strongly recommend them without reservation.  They are extremely professional.
