About the Business
Our brewery has a fun vibe (so we've been told!) and an outdoor beer garden that is as dog-friendly as it gets. Our beer focus is on experimental foggy IPAs, our term for hazy, and includes Beach IPAs (session IPAs), single, double, and triple IPAs. However, we have 16 taps of rotating beer brewed in house that, in addition to foggy IPAs, includes lagers, stouts, saisons, sours, blondes, and West coast IPA styles depending on the visit.

Where do you park? We tried to stop as we were driving by, but no parking available. I guess you have to Uber there if you want to go...

When I visited there was tons of spot on the street directly in front of the brewery.

Humble Sea has a stellar beer selection! As I prefer lagers over IPAs, I'm happy to see some compelling lagers on their menu. IPA lovers will of course be in heaven here--especially if you're into hazy IPAs.
Environment
* The brewery lacks a full size bar top, but they do have some indoor tables and plenty of outdoor seating.
Vibes
* Bartenders are friendly and eager to help you find the right beer to match your palate.
Beer
* Helles Lager - a delicious award winning beer. And it lives up to the hype. - 974291411/2/2023
It was a nice stop on our one night in Santa Cruz. They had a place outside making delicious smelling food (we had already eaten) and they had a lot of outdoor seating. They had heaters, but it was still a bit cold and windy for our super thin Floridian blood.
The night we stopped in the beer choices were a bit one-note, but reading the other reviews it looks like that isn't typically the case. There info says they have 16 taps, but some of them must have been offline that night because there weren't that many. They did have cans/bottles to choose from as well.
Their merch/logos were super cool. - 24055190211/12/2022
Great selection of beer here!
Fun casual vibe. People hanging out here with their dogs outside. You can order using the QR code from your table it or inside. We ordered from our phone outside. But our empanada didn't show up so we walked inside to ask about it before we finished out beer. They said it just came out of the oven.
Empanada was good, not great. We'll likely skip them next time.
Line to order inside can be very long. Two gender neutral bathrooms are inside. - 61042810/26/2022
Oh this place was epic. Beer was amazing, staff was friendly, people visiting were also nice.
Seemed to be mainly only outdoor seating but didn't mind at all. Parking is also street parking which can be slightly difficult so have patience parking because it's worth it. Ton of amazing hazy beers and west coasts to taste on. They had this green Acid imperial sour which was phenomenal! - 13261809308/17/2022
Humble Sea is one of my favorite breweries!
I discovered Humble Sea at a local grocery store and guilty, I am a sucker for good marketing. Humble Sea has the cutest damn packaging. Definitely check out the merch and to-go beer options! This location has cool, chill vibes. Plenty of outdoor seating but you'll get lucky if you find some shade. Also super easy parking is available on the side street.
My most recent visit was on a VERY warm Saturday in spring. Perfect time to try their soft serve beer and beer slushies! The line can get really long, it's a hit or miss, but it moves fast. You just have to time it right.
Dog friendly, cornhole, board games, and food trucks, this is a great place to spend an afternoon.
I went home with a two 4-packs of socks & sandals & boogie board olympics! - 481127268/5/2022
My wife and I walked to Humble Sea Brewery to rest and enjoy the cool Santa Cruz weather. We came on a 1:40PM on a Friday and there weren't that many people. We shared a flight and just sat outside out to enjoy our beers. Sitting, drinking, and taking things slow really made this brewery a favorite whenever we're in Santa Cruz.
We got the Czech Wave, Santa Cruz Pilsner, High Seas, and Disco Jellyfish. The most notable one was the Disco Jellyfish. Definitely a surprise. A creamy taste of coconut, pineapple, and pina colada.
They have tons of canned and bottled alcohol so be sure to check them out! They're also on their website (humblesea.com). I really like their merch shirt because of their shark logo, but I just have too many shirts.. - 10682308/4/2022
I'm a sours type of girl and I got my options here!
Their sour smoothie was the opposite I was expecting but it a great way! I'm used to smoothie sours being a bit sour to start and then becoming sweet in the end. Well this one was backwards and I loved the surprise!
My bf is all about his IPA and greatly enjoys the variety provided here.
The area is also very fun and mellow. Games and a more secluded backyard patio with an additional smaller bar. Perfect place to relax with a beer! - 121052469/21/2022
Nice chill vibe for an evening drink and snack. We ordered a couple empanadas with our beers. I really liked the vegan one, and I'm told the chicken was "just ok". So many beers on tap to choose from, with recommendations, if needed. The outdoor seating is plentiful. Do yourself a favor and share a communal table with a stranger and strike up an interesting conversation. Special events, including a popular trivia night in the back while we were in front.

Finally got to visit the Santa Cruz location. It was a bit confusing when we walked in. You can (a) order at the counter or (b) grab a seat at the table and order via QR code. People tend to have a habit of waiting in lines, but if you're not about that life then I suggest you grab a seat before you grab a drink. There's a vendor for foods as well. Dog friendly. 2 relatively clean restrooms.

Fun atmosphere nice people and good drinks. I did feel like I was in the show Portlandia as I moved about the people.
I enjoyed a few of the beverages and also had some great food from one of the trucks ... def come back by here at some point in the future
Parking was the sucky thingBusiness owner information
