Somebody really needs to tell these people that while this is a Polish area, not EVERYONE who lives on that street is Polish, and not EVERYONE wants to be woken up at 10am every Saturday morning to a loudspeaker voice and off key accapella singing OUTDOORS by a Priest or Principal or whoever this man is. I've lived across the street for 5 years now, and it's constant. Not even going to start on the weekend parties with Blasting DJs til 2am on Summer nights.
These people need to learn respect for their neighbors. It's January, for lord's sake, TAKE THAT NOISE INSIDE to the auditorium!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Steven K.Tustin, CA250120141Apr 22, 2011First to Review
It's a church, why 5 stars? Because I grew up a block from this church and it will be forever embedded in my memory. An interesting fact, that its smack dab in the middle of the Polish part of Maspeth, NY, or Pollock Alley, but looks like something that should be sitting on El Camino Real in California. Stucco and plaster in NYC? Trust me, the architecture of this little gem is worth the visit, if only so you can say, "Hey, I've been to Pollock Alley and there's a Spanish-style neighborhood church smack dab in the middle of it."
