I stayed there for over 8 months in 3 different stays... So what can I say better than that, I Will choose that Holiday Inn again if I have to work there. Great bed, spacious, fridge-microwave-iron. Clean, very clean.
They Cook meals and bring some drinks every tuesday and wednesday afternoon (for free). Small gym (very low temp on it).
The staff was amazing with me since the day 1.
Big flat TV with Direct TV.
Things that could be improved : the breakfast is included and good, but a bit repetitive. You need the car for everything except for an iHop attached.
It is expensive, it is true they offer quality but 110$ + taxes is too much.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tanya L.San Antonio, TX30303Apr 16, 2024
Avoid Ronda, she's rude. Avoid charging your Tesla here or be yelled at. Went back to complain about her to manager and he didn't care she was rude.

So. This hotel is not accommodating to IHG members. Their breakfast seems to be old, very old, bread and meat out. The reception is horrible. The room seems dirty. Plugs didn't work. Just not happy with my experience.

This is one of the best HIE we have ever stayed at. From check in to checkout, the manager, front desk, housekeeping, staff were so friendly , courteous, and helpful. The rooms were clean, breakfast ( scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, cereal, milk, juice, assorted pastries) was satisfying and filling.
The staff made us feel genuinely appreciated, not like the fake friendliness we've experienced at other places. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Kingsville.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John N.Katy, TX419223106Feb 23, 2012First to Review
This Holiday Inn is really nice. The receptionist staff were really helpful even at 1AM. They remembered the details of my reservation from a month ago like it was yesterday. The rooms are also really nice and clean. Free breakfast if you wake up before 9:30. Too bad I'm a college student who can never wake up on time.

Call ahead and make sure they have clean towels! Luckily we only had to stay 1 night for our nephew's graduation. Checked in at 2:30, after a long road trip I was trying to shower before heading to the graduation. I called immediately notifying that there were no towels in our room, was told they were sending some right away, waited 20 min and still nothing. Called again, waited awhile till I finally found a house keeping lady on our floor who informed me there were no towels available. At this point it's 3:30 now so screw the shower, rush to graduation. I received a random text while at graduation asking if we were good at the hotel, odd since I'm a regular with Holiday Inn and no one ever checks on me via text. I responded with we please needed towels when we got back. Okay cool. Went back to hotel at 6 pm after graduation, still no towels. Called again and at this point I'm frustrated. Finally got 2 towels when I asked what was going on at 6:30- Other family members stayed there too and they didn't have towels in their rooms. Next day they were given 1 towels for a family of 3 in a room. Highly disappointed since we always stay at Holiday Inn.

What a great stop for two weary travelers. My Mom wasn't feeling well, and Crystal out a rush on getting the handicapped room ready on the first floor. Also let me add it was early before "check in." I cannot remember the front desk employee name on duty, but he was awesome. Comfy comfy beds! Happy 4th of July

We've stayed here twice this summer as our daughter prepared to attend TAMUK. The staff is friendly, but don't seem very enthusiastic or outgoing. The room this stay was dirty, the walls looked as though something was spilled down them but hadn't been cleaned. The hotel is very nice, breakfast is among the best I'e stayed at a Express. We'll keep coming back unless things continue to get worsen.

Beware!!!!!! These guys will rip you off!! I made reservations online for the best price listed. I had to cancel my reservations due to unforeseen circumstances one week prior to the reservation date. I received a confirmation of my cancellation on line, again with no indication that I would still be charged. When I called the hotel, I was put on hold and never picked up, so I called the corporate complaint line. I was called by the hotel business manager and she gave me a snotty response that she couldn't give a refund because the date had already passed. She offered a "discount" the next time I came to town. Basically, these guys stole $400 out of my pocket. I'll never stay there. It's too bad, because I go down there 3 to 4 times a year for fishing trips. Watch out and don't let these folks steal from you too.

Decent place given the choices in the area. When I arrived, I had to go back and ask them to change the sheets on my bed because there were hairs all in the sheets. It didn't look like the sheets had been changed from the last guest, I have hairy legs and know what white sheets look like after a night or two rolling around in them. The young lady at the desk was very helpful, she came and changed the sheets herself because housekeeping had gone home for the day. The only other complaint I had here was my room smelled heavily of chlorine. I was on the second floor above the pool, but I have never had the smell of chlorine that strong in my room at any hotel I've stayed at. It was as if the pool chemicals were being stored in my bathroom. I'd likely stay here again the next time I'm back in this area simply for the convenience of it, but would probably ask to switch rooms if the smell returned.
