Ooooh my g- when I said this place is good.... I mean it! Not sure you'll find a better vegan Philly cheesesteak... anywhere.. SO good!

We got the Philly cheesesteak, Crispy Hipcity Ranch, kale lemonade, 10 piece chicken nuggets, black & white milkshake (chocolate/vanilla).

My kid said these were the best chicken nuggets he's had. He wanted more, now that's saying something! Haha

Crispy hip city ranch wasn't as crispy as I thought I'd be but still good. Also, juicy and not dry.

But If you're visiting/passing through... I'd definitely recommend the Philly cheesesteak! If you get one thing... it has to be this!

Also, customer service was AMAZING! Wish I lived close.. I'd be here all the time!

Second time we ordered (we gave them a year in between).  But first time we tried the food since the order never arrived last year.

Two fries ordered with our sandwiches, zero fries arrived.  They were nice enough to include the sauces though, and a fork that we didn't need.

This place is a joke.

This is the East Coast equivalent of Veggie Grill, but it's way better than VG. The food is better and the prices are better. What more to say?

Oh, they have all-day breakfast and are open early!

I got a mocha latte shake ($5) and loved it. The breakfast maple crispy chik'n sandwich ($6.49) was decent, though the maple syrup added nothing and made the sandwich worse.

The sunnyside sausage, egg and cheese ($6) was a near-perfect replica of a McDonald's breakfast sandwich. While I enjoyed it, the thing wasn't exactly bursting with flavor. I am also getting tired of the endless repetition of Just Egg and Beyond/Impossible, which seems to be the only vegan combo allowed these days. All that, for $6 I can't complain.

The golden hashbrown ($1.39) was tasty.

Stop by HipCityVeg for a quick, cheap vegan meal.

Smokehouse Burger: Tasted similar to a Beyond Burger. There wasn't enough sauce on the burger so it was a little dry.

Crispy HipCity Ranch: The texture of the chick'n looked and tasted like real chicken!

Nuggets: Very crispy but dry. There was a hard to describe plant after taste. Loved the HipCity and sriracha aioli sauces.

Sweet Potato Fries: Very good - nice crispy outside with soft inside.

Kale Lemonade: It didn't have the tartness that is typically associated with lemonade.

Im delighted that Hipcityveg is in multiple parts of the city. It's not the quickest fast food to pick up but definitely worth the wait. I love the smokehouse burger with buffalo sauce. It's perfect. The sweet potato fries are great too and come with your choice of dipping sauce. I love the sriracha aioli. I've tried the crispy chicken and it was nowhere are good as the smokehouse.

BRUHHHH! This food is sooooo good I'm tempted to move back to Philly just so I can eat here regularly! We ordered a variation of things just so we can try a variety of the menu and all of it and I mean ALL of everything we order was amazing . We got the Philly cheesesteaks, I'm still sitting here trying to figure out how they made the vegan cheese taste so good. The Oh Maitake beyond burger which was beyond believably good. The chipotle fajita wrap on point! The store front itself is beautiful, clean and staff is professional and friendly. WHEN I'm in Philly again, I WILL return!

Used to go to Hip City quite a bit when I lived in Philly. I got to visit again this past weekend when my brother in law went to pick up a matcha and mint smoothie. I'd had their BFG smoothie before, which is awesome, though never a milkshake. He ordered the matcha and mint which I think was a special. It tasted (deliciously) like liquified mint chocolate chip ice cream! Apparently their regular milkshakes are great as well. (Milkshakes are great in general and I've never been disappointed by a vegan one.)

I haven't had their food in a while but always loved the udon noodle salad, chicken fingers, and their burger. Everything I've tried has been done well though, so it's not so much what I prefer as just what I've tried. Usually I find something I like and just order it to death (like the udon noodle salad!)

Anyway, another great vegan spot in Philly that's satisfying to meat eaters and veggies alike!

My food was prepared and ready at estimated pick up time. Food taste amazing even though my Sweet potato fries could be much warmer.

I love getting pick up from here whenever I'm nearby. Their entire menu is vegan, but even if you are not vegan (I'm not vegan or vegetarian), I would still check this place out. I have tried a few things from their menu:

Arugula taco salad: this is my favorite and my go to. You can add the spicy Chick'n (plant based) or not, either way it tastes great. The ingredients they use are always fresh and crisp and it makes you feel healthy after consumption. I love adding the chick'n though because it adds some protein to my meal and they serve it so warm!

Blackened chipotle Fajita wrap: this is more like a burrito than a wrap. It is delicious, I don't know how it is vegan because I legit thought there was real chicken in there the first time I had it. It tastes like a good burrito, the inside is so warm and the tortilla is soft.

Sweet potato fries: heavenly. Get them if you're there, I mean you're being healthy already, so why not? They are absolutely worth it.

Burgers: I guess if you're a vegan this may be a good option. If you're not.... I don't think this is something worth trying because the real thing tastes much better. I feel like this with most plant based burgers so maybe it's my bias kicking in, but it looks like a burger and all the surrounding stuff tastes like the great burger but the patty, the soul of any great burger, is just not up to the level of the rest of the ingredients.

Whoa. This place is so so good! First of all, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. They made delicious recommendations and made the food really quickly! I got the sausage egg and Gouda cheese biscuit  and my husband got the Philly cheesesteaks. Both had the distinct and unique flavors of what they're called! We then ordered 20 chik'n nuggets with the hipcityveg sauce just to snack on later and they were drool worthy. My mouth is watering just remembering them.  We've been vegan for about a year and a half and have not tasted such good quality vegan food at such a GREAT value. I cannot wait to visit this place again and chow down! 10 out of 5 stars!
