Happy to do business here! Bought some beautiful hemp and bamboo clothing. Nice selection of hemp apparel and products. Also some beautiful custom blown pipes and general accessories.

A client of mine and some old friends decided to hit up some of the Mountain Biking by Shelter Cove a few weeks back. Riding caravan style, loaded to the brim with bikes, pads, helmets, beer, meat and wood for three days, my client said we had to stop at this shop is Gaberville to get a T-shirt. Why the hell do you need a t-shirt for a weekend of riding???
As we rolled into Garberville, an epitome of a laid back town supported by California's No. 1 cash crop, we found Tommy in the Hemp Connection buying a pipe. Why the hell did you tell me a t-shirt man???
The shop is of typical size with a large selection of hemp wears and "lifestyle" items. In the case is a small selection of your typical glass and an area for more unique wood and metal appliances.
The chick behind the counter totally was baked and I'm pretty sure she didn't know what day it was but hey, she was knowledgeable and polite and good Karma to her.
Apparently, this was the first hemp shop in the US, not sure about that, but that's what the lady said. I'm all for the use of hemp, its durability is phenomenal but until we get some laws changes its ridiculously expensive.
So next time you are on 101 north and need a shirt, or smoking accoutrement, you know you got a friend in Gaberville.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Cherry C.San Francisco, CA118136Aug 2, 2018

Great store with a great variety of hemp clothes and products. I came here like 8-10 years ago and bought a jacket and still have it strong. I was traveling through to the Pacific Northwest and wondered if the store was still there. To my amazement and surprise YES! Shopped there for a few clothing items. The clothes are of quality. A little expensive but I tell you it's worth it! I will be back next summer! Thank you Garberville!

This is the real deal: the original, longest standing hemp store in the country, with visitors from around the world. Nestled in the heart of the redwoods, it's a true tourist destination like no other. All kinds of items: fashionable and durable clothing for men, women and children; body care, household items, and MJ-inspired items you won't find anywhere else. Also, a nice patio to chill on then the weather is warm.

Omigosh, back in the day when the leafy sign went up over what used to be a gift shop and before that a jewelry shop and before that a gas station (I think) the good folk of G'ville were horrified, let me tell you. Much contacting of supervisors and much wringing of hands. Well, amongst a certain sector; the rest of us were all "oh, cool, great idea". The sign remained. The shop carries a wide range of very nice hemp attire, plus random hemp-related merchandise. For my slim budget prices are high, but quality is also high, and I sometimes buy special gifts for friends and family here; I mean, hemp socks, how trendy can you get? I love the little patio area, and watching the pretty houseplants (no, they are not that kind of plant) grow and bloom. And it does give the tourists something to talk about.

Great place the shop while in Garberville and a local landmark. One of the very early hemp stores.

Small store. Cool items, and cute clothing for women primarily. All made of hemp. Great quality, although quite pricey. Expect to pay over $20-30 per item. Small selection.

I had a very good experience there and the two who run it. Marie and Teresa are two of the kindest nicest people there are. They are very professional and very kind. They even went as far as to let me and my girlfriend stay on there property. And gave us jobs to make money. We were in a jam and they helped us out very much. They told us a lot about the land and educated us very well on there history. Very good people in an awsome town.
