Hawx Pest Control

DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE FOR PEST/MOLE REMOVAL! Too expensive with NO positive results! They lock you in to about 3 visits totaling over $200 and then come back after winter time and charge your account again. We said we didn't want their service anymore because we had more mole hills now even after they treated our yard in the fall, but they said 'the only way to get out of the contract was to pay a $75 fee for one more visit.' Seriously? I didn't know we had a contract with you.....are you AT&T?!?!? I will find someone else that will set traps and remove the moles properly at a better rate. Thanks but no thanks! BEWARE!

Unfortunately, their door to door got my old mother in law to sign up and now she is being stressed by these people with charges and fees when she already called to terminate the service. They auto debit her charge card every month but never seen them except 1 time. And when she has cancelled the services , she just keeps getting billed and now her balance just keeps going up !
Scammers elite !!!!

Stay away. i ended services months ago and they are still pushing charges through even with credit card disputes.

If I could give them zero stars I would! They don't come when they're suppose to and when they do, they don't refill the traps. DON'T USE THEM! If you sign up for their service YOU CAN'T CANCEL. We tried several times to call and cancel with them but they transfer you where you stay on hold forever!

Do not use Hawx pest control. I cancelled and now they are sending me a huge bill for serv I didn't receive. Now they said they would send me to collections. Last time I called lady said she didn't know why they were sending me texts for service when I had already cancelled.
Bunch of cons.

I was very happy that HAWX came back several extra times during the initial treatment, because we hadn't seen big results at first. I was rarely able to be present when a service person came out to treat my lawn after the first months. However, Hawx was great about letting me know when service was planned and what was done.
I really appreciated Colson's attention to my questions and concerns. he did a great job of taking care of things.

Scam Artists.

Please do yourself a favor and don't allow these fraudulent pests into your life. A young kid came to my door and I agreed to a one-time spray. They kept trying to talk me into a monthly fee and I was very clear in saying, "THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD SIGN UP FOR A MONTHLY RECURRING SERVICE/FEE. Give me a one-time spray, that's all I am interested in."

So he agrees and sends me the contract. Then texts me that there was a mistake with the contract and that he needs to send me an updated one. I sign, and they do the spray. I need to call them to re-spray because honestly it didn't work and we were still getting ripped up by mosquitos. But that isn't the worst part.

A month later someone comes and sprays without my consent and a $79.00 charge shows up in my account. I call to tell them that I want them to cancel my account and delete my information because I am getting charged for services I didn't request. They tell me that the contract I signed was for a monthly service at $79.00 a month for an entire year and if I want to cancel it I need to pay $200. I ask to speak with their managers, and they assure me that their manager will say the same thing. I texted the kid who sold me and asked how this happened, he blocked my number after the first text. This is 100% Consumer Fraud and they deserve to be put out of business. Do yourself a favor and RUN.

Stay away from this company.

They will trick you with confusing and inaccurate service plan and lock you in for service contract that is priced higher than they initially offer.

Shop with hawx pest control at your own risk. Door-to-door sales reps, particularly Austin, will lie to get your money. I was told services cost $250 a year, or roughly $62 every 3 months. Get my bank statement and hawx is charging me $62/month=$744/year!! Called to cancel, $199 cancellation fee!!! Hawx are thieves and slick talkers. Hawx charges you monthly, but Hawx will only scheduled to come to your house quarter. 4 times a year. Buyers beware!!

I have received extremely poor service and very dissatisfied as I had been a customer over 5 years. I was paying a monthly fee and could not even get quarterly service. Don't use the service, there are plenty of other pest providers in the Indy area. Poor customer service and do not provide the service promised.

This company engages in ILLEGAL and PREDATORY business practices. They have continued to charge our credit card despite speaking to them multiple times on the phone and in person to cancel. They refuse to cancel and kept sending "technicians" out when we were not home and then attempted to charge the card on which we blocked them.

Over the phone, they told us that there was an email that we had to "opt-out" of the service. We received no such email, yet another lie. Their "opt-out" option is actually against Indiana Common Law in that it is a contract modification and assent from both parties is required. We have CONTINUOUSLY REVOKED CONSENT from their services. Read: ILLEGAL PRACTICES.

Now they are threatening to send an "outstanding bill" to collections. It's laughable that this "company" is able to charge false bills and then ruin somebody's credit, not the mention the constant harassment via phone, mail, and in person. Send this company out of business.
