I brought my daughter here a month ago and again today. The very first time Harriet was her stylist, and she did a great job. Although, I scheduled an appointment with Harriet, she did not do my daughter's her. She informed us that her hand was hurting, so someone else would be doing her hair. The other stylist did a great job as well, but the wait time was ridiculous! We got there at approximately 10:45 and didn't leave until almost 2:00 pm. On our very first visit we were in and out in about 1 hour. This place is inexpensive, but the wait times vary. In addition, finding a parking spot can be challenging.

I'm so sorry to all of those who were duped, by this "company". A friend was recently scheduled with them and like the others, she dealt with the poorest of customer service, professionalism, and time management. From what I've seen over time, the "when we are late, we will still charge you when you decide to leave" scam is real and active. Please refer to my pictures for that explanation.

Stay clear of this place, it will be more elsewhere, but without the games.

My experience as a consumer only.
I had an appointment scheduled at a specific time. When I arrived I waited 30-35 minutes before the stylist came out and acknowledged me.

I was informed that she had two other people that walk-in( reminder I had an appointment ) and if I could come back in about an hour.
Against my better judgement, I agreed because I really needed my hair styled.
After returning, I waited another 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, the stylist had another client come in that was schedule in 30 minutes and another client who had been waiting earlier too.

I decided to leave.

I must say that a tall male stylist in the front office was very professional, caring, and talented. He offered a few hair tips during during my long wait.

In my opinion, poor time management and no respect for the client's time.


Never say never, but I truly want try to patronize this Community business again.

They double your tracks. Can't choose your own braid pattern. You get what you pay for. They got me in right away.

HORRIBLE JOB. My daughter went to the Arlington location and Katie was the "stylist" that did her her. Katie had bonding glue across my daughter s forehead and after several minutes fo trying to wipe it off with a baby wipe (an alcohol pad should have been used) Katie instructed my daughter to go home and fix it. There is NO WAY your hair should look like this after 1 day! We tried reaching out to Katie the following day via text however she just ignored it. We then reached out to the owner of the salon who responded but only offered a redo of service. There is no way I would let someone redo my daughters hair who is supposed to be a professional stylist who did a horrible job the first time
!!! I caution anybody about going to the salon they're very unprofessional unresponsive and I'm willing to make the customers happy!!
If I could give this place negative stars I would!!

I normally wear my own hair, it was my birthday and I wanted a different look tried someone at the Lancaster location, the customer service was cool however i took my sew in out a few days after my party because of this...

I had an appointment at 3:00pm today at this place. When you walk in you have to sign your name and number I told the desk lady I have appointment with Tiffany at 3:00.( mind you I walked in at 2:45pm) they called me to the back at 4:00pm to do the braid up. After that it was down hill from there.

I asked the front desk lady when will I be next cause it's going on 6:30pm and I got here at 2:40pm???? So she walks to the back and she comes back and said she will be right with you. I was like ok..... I look at the clock now it's 7:30pm like really.... They started taking the trash out saying bye to each other and shit. I went back up there and I told the lady I don't even want my hair done now. Tiffany comes out from the back claiming she never knew I was out there. Smh. This was a complete waste of my day and waste of money. ( they charged me $25 for the braid up) which was unprofessional since I had been waiting there all that time and no body ask me anything.

Do not do not go here ever!!! Also they false advertise saying $50 for the sew ins but they charge more after its done. So if you do decide to risk it anyway it will not be $50. I don't even want to rate this business. I'm still pissed

Really Ridiculous!!!! Never going back to this place. I had appointment set for my little sister at 12 Showed up @12:20 but I did courtesy call.

Get to the Shop and The stylist I wanted to do her hair Doesn't even Greer us Then when we finally approached him he tells us that He doesn't know why they booked him because he doesn't really work for them, and he's not working on Sunday and tells us that someone else will be doing her hair

So the Other Stylist that will be doing her hair said she couldn't give us a time frame we just wait it out. The stylist here were just UNPROFESSIONAL.

We didn't get out of there until 5 oclock and I am not satisfied with the results at all !! My little sister got a closure sew in and the closure is lifting on one side And ima have to do what I was trying to AVOID Doing which is put glue on her hair like

My appt was scheduled at 11 for a full sew in, I was running a Lil bit behind and made a courtesy call. Well my appt was moved to 11:45 without notice. I wasn't seen by stylist until 12:30. There wasn't a thorough conautation, not enough questions asked to get my achieved look. The braider and the stylist lacked communication, it was too brief. Well once I got up I hated my hair, still gave her a tip because I am also in the beauty industry so I always feel obligated.

I got home and styled my hair, but I still dislike the placement. I ended up taking my hair out after the second day. It was too obvious that my hair was fake. My edges felt like they were going to fall out. Never coming back... I guess u get what u pay for. It was super cheap, $50 for a sew in. 2 stars for the attempt.

This place is absolutely terrible. (The Arlington location that is), and DeMichael is absolutely horrible. My daughter walked in with edges, and walked out with no edges. Here are the photos below. She asked him not to do it tight, and he did anyway. He pulled her hair so tight, it broke all of her edges off and he pulled her edges up into the weave. it's horrible, absolutely horrible. DeMichael is awful, I told him one side of my weave was too tight and he told me "Take some advil" and refused to loosen it up. Luckily my hair did not come out like my daughters as far as we can see. I'm scared to take my weave out now. He should be ashamed. Skip this place and pay the extra money. At least you will leave with your edges. I can truly say I've heard about weave horror stories, but after this experience, I will always rock my natural hair or go to the best in the business. I will NEVER deal with another person of his caliber.
