Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Atlanta East

where do start!
I have been to Hattie B's on multiple occasions and the food is always AMAZING!
Their fried chicken is deadly hot spicy, but I can't help but feast on piece and breaking a sweat!.
the counter staff are courteous and quick.
The food orders are out within minutes and are always the perfect temperature.
It's a good thing that Hattie B's is not on the way to work, because I would gain so much weight by stopping there EVERY DAY.

OOOOOOOHHHHHWEEEE! The food was amazingly fresh and delicious. I am a fan of heat but even medium was too hot! If you want to enjoy the food and flavor, I highly suggest getting the mild on the tenders--- at least. I was a huge fan of the mac n cheese, but would probably pass on the black eyed peas salad. The peas were a bit hard BUT that might be due to them being served as a salad rather than them as traditional hot beans. Although I was not a fan, the flavor was there!

I don't live in Atlanta, but it will b my go to when I return.

We discovered this place in January and have been back too many time since! First, the staff is incredible - always greeting you with a smile and warning you about the spice level you choose (the ghost pepper is mighty hot). The food is nothing short of fresh and spectacular. All the sides are unbelievably delicious, and the chicken is on another level. The tenders, wings, whole chicken... whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed.

Passed by this spot quite a few times & been wanting to try.!! Finally decided to stop on by with a group of friends after church.!
I will say that the service is quite lovely & fantastic.! Workers at the counter were very accommodating & had such great personalities & attitudes.! Being a first timer, our cashier was very helpful! Once ordered, Food came out in such a timely manner!! Some members of our group's food made it to the table as we sat down.!!

Food was actually pretty good.! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. I tried the waffles, and was quite disappointed (very cakey & sweet... seemed pre packaged, as I was expecting a fluffy waffle)! Sides weren't that spectacular, but weren't terrible.
Spiciness is right on, & this place definitely delivers on the CRISPY, SPICY, JUICY chicken. Although fried well, chicken is still juicy inside!!
Would recommend this place if you're into fried chicken!.

hubs and I shared the large dark chicken and since I'm kind of a spice wimp, we ordered the mild. It was so juicy and perfect, I honestly wanted to take all of the chicken and run! We had the potato salad and black eyed pea salad and they were delicious! They sure as heck know what their doing at Hattie B's! Everyone we encountered that worked there was so friendly and nice. I wish I lived closer to have this all the time!

This is my first time eating at Hattie's B's and I am excited. My husband and son went to the original in Nashville while I was running a marathon, so I have tried leftovers, but this is my first time at the establishment here. We came on a beautiful sunny Saturday around 4:30 pm. I got word that it was National Hot Chicken Day so I received a $5 discount in my email. I ordered a veggie plate-bacon cheese grits, mac and cheese, and southern Cole slaw. Son got a chicken sandwich and fries, and husband got wings with two sides. I want to give a shout out to Kevin, at the front, who is super friendly and gave me good tips on which were his favorite sides, given that it was my first time. I was only going to order one side but he told me about the secret veggie platter not listed on the menu. Husband and son also played corn hole outside while waiting for our food. I have to say that the bacon cheese grits sides were my hands down favorite. Kevin, you called this one right! Son loved his chicken sandwich and fries, and my husband devoured his wings. They also gave an app that you can receive rewards. We will be back!

This was my first time trying Hattie B's chicken and they most certainly did not disappoint!

This location was close to one of our stops a few blocks away from Georgia Tech. We got there in the late afternoon so it was not busy and were lucky enough to find a good parking spot right in front.

I just wanted to try their famous spicy chicken sandwich meal so I kept it pretty basic. They serve crinkle fries along with the meal and while I am not really a fan of these types of fries, these were amazing. Crunchy and properly seasoned they were really some of the best I have ever had.

The Chicken Sando was super moist, spicy and really just two strips on a bun served with pickles and a mildly sweet slaw, it was just the perfect combination for their great tasting chicken. It kind of sucks because now this is going to be the bar for me and everything else will have this to compete with in my mind.

I can't wait to eat here again if I am ever in the area and with so many chicken choices in Atlanta, you have to make sure you make some time for Hattie B's.

Hattie B's is very good. Extra large chicken tenders and great DirtyBird fries. Always fresh and delicious! Highly recommended!!

Hattie B's does it again with the best spicy chicken sandwich. We went in with my brother and his fiancé and they were both so impressed with the quality of the chicken as well as the flavors of all of the food.

My go to is the spicy chicken sandwich with either the mild or medium spice level and with Mac and cheese or fries on the side.

If you're near a Hattie b's, grab a sandwich and see what the hype is all about...it lives up to it!

Went back for another try and everything was definitely better. I do still stand by saying the spicier the less flavor the chicken actually is.

Overall my husband is hooked and still has occasional cravings.
