Great local shop. I took my guitar up there b/c I was having some buzzing issues. I was worried that it would cost a lot of money to fix. However, the people working were kind enough to look at it and make some simple suggestions on how to fix the buzz without having paying a lot of money.
I will be sure to take all my repairs here b/c I know they can be trusted. Greatly appreciate the service they provided.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Darian O.Morgan Park, Holly Springs, NC16Feb 8, 2024

I had an emergency repair situation come up. Nothing too serious but something I couldn't handle myself. I called and explained the situation to Terry who told me to be at the shop the next morning when they opened and they'd take care of me. I was waiting in the parking lot when they opened. Brought the guitar in and explained everything again to the folks up front. They then told me they'd "try to get to it later that day." I explained what Terry had told me but they said they were down a man and now they couldn't get to it while I waited. Didn't matter that I had driven 45 minutes to be there. Didn't matter that I had a gig that night and couldn't get back to Raleigh to pick the guitar up later. And it didn't matter that I was the only customer in the store.

Just purchased a Guild D-240E Acoustic guitar from Harry's through Reverb. The shop was very helpful in making my selection and the Guild guitar was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. I'm blown away at the quality and playability of this inexpensive Guild right out of the box. I love the classic look, sound, and feel of this guitar and look forward to many years of enjoyment playing it.

Excellent service and we found it to be just the right size with great stock. We visited another shop that was a big box retailer style and immediately saw the difference.

My old but treasured, 12 String guitar needed a set of new tuning pegs and a new set of strings. Harry's Guitar Shop was recommended be several people who said they do great work.
The repair work done on my guitar was perfect. I highly recommend them!

I have been to Harry,s several times for supplies and have tried out what he had in the shop. I came back to guitar after 25 years and Started back up about a year ago on a Yamaha Acoustic. I was hemming and hawing over a Yamaha FG800J. I brought in some of my old stuff but unfortunately he could not use it. I understand it,s a business and no hard feelings. So, I picked the new Fg800J a bit and to me it sounded great so took it home with a hard case. What a difference in the slight up grade for me at least as I am sitting here toying with it tonight. It has lit fire anew under me. I do not know Harry,s and Harry,s does not know me but they took the time to listen to my concern,s based on my skill level and I think that,s what separate,s the big box from them. I know that if I have any issues with it I can come to them for resolution. Thats the difference between the big box and smaller Guy,s. And in the Future when Im looking again I will certainly give Harry,s a Re-try. As for the Old Stuff it will go to a Musical Charity so that a Young mind can get introduced to the Musical World. A win -Win.

Didnt even have music on to get me in the mood to shred a guitar in the middle of the store. Eesh. Needed a better environment to shell out that much money on a box with strings. Won't be seeing this place again.

Was not good customer service at all definitely recommend finding another place if you need guitar parts. The employee tried to claim my guitar was fake when I told him it was clearly a real guitar. Employee has no idea what he is talking about and definitely has never touched a guitar. Also tried overcharging me for 3 guitar picks. Very disappointed in Harry's guitar shop.
