4/21/20201 check-inI am a regular at the Harmony Spa before the stay at home order. It's my go to place for massage. I used to do the full body maaage for $35 and decided to just do the $25 combo foot and body. It's not in a private room but it's a quiet common room . It's clean and the owner and workers are very nice. For $25, you get 1 hour foot and body massage. They start with soaking your feet on warm water while they massage your back, neck and arms. Then they massage your face, hand, legs. Then they will massage your back. It's really relaxing and worth the $25 and more. Tip is not included in the $25 so tip generously if you are satisfied. I am looking forward to my weekly massages once things normalizes.

9/20/2019Such an amazing place! The service was amazing, the workers were respectful, everything was clean and organized! It was quiet with calming music in background! The prices are soooo affordable! $40 for full body massage! Plus hot stones!
The staff made me feel super comfortable! Also for couples they have a massage room with two beds so can get massages in the same room! So cool! Highly recommend! They take cash only but have an ATM inside! - Fiona S.Los Angeles, CA
6/20/2019Updated reviewGot Coco as my masseuse this time because Yoyo wasn't here. Let me just say that this lady has the smoothest hands! And on a hot day, her hands stay cool.
Coco's technique is closer to shiatsu in my opinion. She was able to relieve my muscles just by pressing on my pressure points. She also has a very good sense of the different pressure levels to use depending on the technique she's using. For example, she knows not to dig her elbow into your back and just ease into it. And when she's kneading your shoulders, she is aware which points need more pressure and which need to be softer. Officially my alternate after Yoyo!
4/6/2019Previous reviewI came on a Thursday night and it was empty. Better for me because I was served immediately.
My masseuse was Yoyo - super polite and considerate of how I was feeling. Like every other foot massage place, they start with a bucket of warm water for you to soak your feet. This place adds epsom salt which felt even better. Out of all the $20 foot massage places I've been to, never have I been asked if the pressure was ok or if the water was too hot. Yoyo made sure to stay communicative and considerate of me even though her English was not the best.
I love places that cover your eyes when they massage your feet, which is what they did here. Instantly knocked out because it was so good. Yoyo proved that it doesn't take brute force in order to relieve sore muscles. This was by far one of the best cheap massage I've had. Well worth the $25.Read more

9/12/20191 check-inI came in with an offer that this place had for a 28$ full body massage for 1 hour. It was granted but the guy, who is pry the owners son, seemed hesitant about it. The massage itself was alright at best, a bunch of pushing really more than a massage. They interrupted my massage at the beginning cutting out about 10 minutes of it to give me the phone to speak with the owner which was soooooo awkward. They then knocked on the door after 50 min in to advise the masseur it was already an hour.
To make matters ever worse, As I was leaving the owner stopped me and was upset saying that the coupon was old and that they have no special for 28$ and proceeded to claim that I took a photo of the offer on my phone and forged it. He was very rude about it. I took out my yelp and showed him the coupon and he still went on to say that it shouldn't be there. It's his shop! How does he not know of this!? And why the hell would I forge a yelp coupon !? How do you even do that shit? He then still tried to defend his stance instead of apologizing for his own business mishap! That is NOT HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS!
Completely incompetent! Completely awful experience , will never go back. (Those poor masseurs are pry trafficked workers by the way his attitude was presented)
Edit reply to business:
I've been there once back in 2014 and obviously didn't have the same experience. Apparently I'm not the only customer who's had an issue. What a way to acknowledge your own business' wrong by doubling down on insisting that I forged the coupon, instead of acknowledging that your business never had that coupon removed to being with...how dare you assume I'm lying and attempting fraud.

9/12/2019Aaron, The coupon you presented on your phone was back in 2014 as you stated. It was discontinued/expired in 2015. We contacted yelp and they concurred that you saved an old coupon as we currently do not have any yelp check-in's for $28. We don't know how to keep explaining it to you except to tell you it's not a valid coupon 2014. If you look back at how long you had the coupon saved on your phone, you will understand why it's no longer valid.

12/1/20196 check-insBummed that my go-to masseuse, Ivy, is no longer available - she was great and reliable in getting out all my kinks in the back. Tonight I got Lily and she was terrible. It's like she didn't know what she was doing? The first 15 minutes, I was lying there waiting for the massage to really get down to business, since usually the first few minutes the masseuse does like a total body assessment of your muscles to zero in on your trouble spots through touch and intuition. Not her unfortunately.
She just kept rubbing my skin up and down. Finally I had to ask her to go harder, but it barely registered. So I asked again, and she proceeded to go HARD and FASTER on my skin. There was no rhyme or reason to her massage. It was more rubbing my skin and hitting my nerves. All the rocking back and forth from the motion gave me a migraine, which I still have as I'm writing this review.
It was not therapeutic or relaxing at all. She was really rough on my body, even my fingers and toes. There's usually a discernible pattern with these massages, but she seemed rushed and unfocused. I was wincing in pain but she didn't pick up on it. I was torn between taking it or speaking up to say that it hurt, to only have her to back to how she started... it felt like she was taking it out on my body.
There were no stretches or pressure points like I'm used to expecting at this place. I was so surprised when she was finished, because it was very abrupt and unceremonious.
When I was getting dressed, my lower back spasmed and I felt more in pain than when I came in. As I was limping back toward the front, fortunately the owner noticed and asked how I was. I couldn't lie. The reason why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is that he offered to have someone else give me a quick massage on the worst parts of my lower back, which was much better.
Apparently Lily is one of their most experienced and seasoned masseuses??? How is that even possible. She definitely checked out when she worked on me... my back still hurts and now I have a pounding headache. Not sure if I'll be going back, as this is the second strike in a row. I didn't come back for many months since my last bad experience, now I'm considering avoiding it altogether. Which is a shame since it's so close and convenient - Chef MG G.Los Angeles, CA1 friend90 reviews75 photos
2/6/2020I love love love this place. The man in the front is super nice and polite. Today I had Amy give me my massage and she was amazing. You cannot beat the prices. They do a such an great job. I'm so happy I want to go back for more.

5/14/20191 check-inYelp 100 Challenge 2019 #30
I thought this place was pretty average. The lady doing my massage didn't understand any English, so I wasn't able to communicate of what I wanted, so I guess that's why I wasn't as impressed.
My mom, on the other hand, said it was the best massage and wants to go back. Her masseuse was Yoyo. So it definitely depends on who you get.
I was also disappointed that when I checked in for yelp and asked for the free lotion, they said they didn't have any more lotion.... I'm not sure what massage place just runs out of lotion.
Anyways, I will not be going back. - Terri B.Alhambra, CA247 friends18 reviews5 photos
3/14/2020Updated reviewOkay I've been coming here for a year now and I love it!! I'm an EMERGENCY ROOM nurse and this is my self care SPOT! I even buy the membership for one month of massages and it's been life changing I feel so much healthier!! Keith the owner hires ONLY the best and will fire anyone who isn't good, rude or nonprofessional!! Give it a try and leave your feedback! This is a hidden gem!! I get the full body hot stone and bio freeze 60 min VIP pkg and leave feeling like a VIP!!
7/24/2018Previous reviewNice full body massage with biofreeze and hot stones for $50!! Great massage but knocking off one star for all of the talking amongst employees making it hard to relax so bring your headphones because they don't even whisper. Got out all of the kinks and left feeling rejuvenated. Good price for the service. Oh and this was in the private room not the open room so panties only!

11/14/2019Me and my mother went in for a massage. I called ahead to book an appointment (not sure if necessary or not) and they put us down for 1pm. We arrived around 12:30pm and let them know we had a 1pm appointment. They took us in right away before our appointment began. A male guided us to the back and 2 females asked us to take off our clothes. We told them we didn't feel comfortable doing that and they understood. They rubbed the lavender oil on our arms since that was the only skin portion that was visible. The massage was great, one tip I would suggest is to go on an empty or close to empty stomach because of their massage techniques. Wonderful massage! Would recommend!

1/22/2020When I showed my Groupon voucher to the unwelcoming and rude receptionist, she took a picture of it and then was adamant that I already had used it. She said her English was not good, but she was able to clearly say that I had already used the voucher and that she needed to call her boss. When I showed her, for the third time, my phone, she finally realized that she had made a mistake. This situation was not only an embarrassing moment, it was humiliating. It was a horrible experience when I was there for a healing one.

5/13/20181 check-inAt first we weren't sure of the experience my girl and I would have here just from the looks of the place. There's plenty of parking in the back of the building. When my Chinese speaking masseuse started I was disappointed but during the hour long massage she did a great job with the deep tissue and stretches. We tipped above the posted tipping scale because we were so happy with the experience. One less star for the uncomfortable face cradle and satin sheets.

4/21/20171 check-inOne of the best body messages I've gotten around here! The masseur was so sweet, nice, and funny. I like to be interactive when I'm getting my massage, and she basically shared her whole life story with me lol. She's very genuine and her service is definitely one of the best I've had. I like harder pressure, and she was definitely giving me that, it's good that she also asked me first. Her and her husband both work here, and her husband gave a foot+body massage to my boyfriend, and my bf loved it as well.
In terms of parking, they have like 4 spots right in front of their place, so it was pretty convenient for us. We didn't have to wait for too long as walk-ins, so that was nice, and it doesn't happen too often on a Friday afternoon. Anyways, it was very well worth the money, make sure to give them a good tip. :) - Sandy G.Gilbert, AZ16 friends44 reviews10 photos
4/15/2019Can't beat the price of $25 for an hour massage. 30 mins for your feet and 30 mins for body. You are in a room with others but everyone is fully clothed and it is quiet. Recommended tip is $10 and they charge extra for using card but you are in the 626 so cash is always the preferred method of payment. For a lazy afternoon not a bad way or price to get a little down time.

9/28/20171 check-inA few of my girlfriends and I went here last weekend for full body massages. One of the girls spoke highly of the place and since they relocated to Monterey Park it was even more convenient for us. There were 4 of us and we were glad they were able to take us as walk-ins right away. We went into two couple's room. On each table there laid a towel which we were supposed to get under. I've been getting massages more often lately and this table and towel was not one of the cozy ones; it didn't bother me so much.
As for the massage...I think I got a trainee or something (she would mimic the masseuse working on my friend at times). Initially, I was bothered by the masseuses side conversations with each other. Eventually, they stopped and I tried to relax and just listen to the music. It was difficult to enjoy the massage because my masseuse was too rough with her elbows and fingers poking in to me! I asked her to go softer 3 times and at one point I even said "Ow!" because she poked me so hard in my arm with her finger and nail. I planned to still give a 2 star review, but in the days that followed I noticed a bruise where she had poked me and I let out an "Ow!" My friend even heard me say that and both masseuses let out a giggle when it happened. In addition, my neck started to hurt; my neck didn't even hurt when I went in!! I had asked her to go softer on my neck and on my shoulder bone too! Don't get me wrong, I've had deep tissue massages before, but the pain was more from her fingers digging in on me. At some points, I honestly thought to myself, "is it almost over?" TERRIBLE!! Furthermore, her strokes were sooo fast I thought she was going to cause some chaffing on my skin. What's up with that?! I definitely didn't enjoy the massage and looked forward to it's end. So sad. I also didn't appreciate how when the massage was over, my masseuse just turned on the bright lights without warning. The least she could have done was use the dimmer.
The ladies are nice and friendly, but speaking about my masseuse in particular, she was not very skilled in the craft. I think I need another massage from elsewhere to help me deal with the slight neck pains. - Rachel Q.Monterey Park, CA
8/27/20182 check-insCame here after another massage place was fully booked. $25 for a combo foot and body, which wasn't too bad. It was cash only and luckily my friend and I had cash. The lady that massaged me was really nice and strong! Some of the things she was doing hurt but in a good way. She asked throughout if it was okay, which was nice of her. Overall a pretty good massage, would recommend this place.

3/13/20181 check-inThis place is my go-to massage place. There are so many places I have been to for massages but Harmony has been consistently good, no matter which person does my massage. I am pretty weak sauce when it comes to massages and just some gentle rubbing on my neck is great but my husband has more issues with his muscles and he always leaves feeling nice and relaxed. I always get the 60 min body massage. They added hot stones which I am indifferent about. I will be coming back soon.

1/22/20182 check-insI was really bummed to hear that my beloved Harmony Day Spa had closed... but was instantly perked when I heard it merged to this location! It's a little harder to spot when driving by, but just as convenient. Easily found street parking on a Saturday afternoon.
My bf and I did the private room for an hour and for $40 each were treated to a hot stone massage. What a deal! The masseuses were nice and the place is quite tranquil. Will definitely be back!
