Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I hold a monthly subscription and up until recently I had been going to the Miami Lakes location. However, I recently moved and now started going to this location.

I find the facility to be clean and the staff to be very nice and friendly! I had a standard facial this time and it was great!

Can wait to schedule my next appointment!

My husband bought me a gift card to this location and scheduled an appointment for both of us. We arrived 15 minutes early to fill out the intake forms, and my husband was quickly brought back for his massage. I however waiting 30 minutes for the massage therapist who never showed. Apparently she had a client in the massage room who was more important than her following client. At this point, I decided to cancel the appointment because my husband had already been in his massage for more than half the time, and I did not want him to be waiting for me once he was finished. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and accommodating, but if this was how the first appointment was handled, I can't imagine How any subsequent appointments would be handled.

I just had the most horrible experience. My husband purchased a gift card for me. First, I wanted a male therapist. They were not able to give me one due to their spa schedule. The front desk would give me excuses like we only have males working Sundays. No body needs to know the back of house issues!!!

The couples massage was rushed. The scalp massage was friction. The draping was horrible I could feel the breeze in between my legs. The therapist elbowed my vertebrae twice. And elbowed my sacrum. There is are no muscles in my sacrum!!! He emptied the peppermint essential oil on my head and it was burning my eyes. I told the front desk!!! She thought it was funny and smirked the whole time. She also said that they learn everything in school. I explained that they need to be trained by Hand And Stone!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Been having a nagging pain in my neck and shoulder for about a week and finally decided to treat myself to a massage. The place is clean, the staff is super friendly, but the star of the event was Teresa.
Teresa kneaded my knots and rubbed every tense spot away and I left that session floating and looking forward to booking my next one.

I've been visiting hand and stone for 2 years! It doesn't feel like a drive-thru massage parlor. The massage therapists ask and seem to really care about your areas of concern or what you want them to focus on. Great staff. Great service. Great massage and the membership is a sweet deal! Highly recommend a visit and I know you'll convert on the spot to a monthly member! 4 stars because the massage isn't really an hour. Sometimes ends at 45 mins.

Therapist Lourdez is highly recommended very knowledgeable to target problem area and relaxing

The store would not honor a gift card that had just expired less than 1 month ago. A business that understands the laws of customer service knows that honoring a $75 gift card is more valuable than losing 5 times as much in future massages. Its elementary. I will never use this location again and I will make sure my opinion is heard.

I had an $80 gift card to Hand & Stone that I held onto for about a year. I finally went to use it. I called and they had no appointments for a massage but said they had a facial with "The BEST esthetician." They said the facial would be $80 and my gift card would cover it. The esthetician asked me my goals for the facial and I said to just help my skin clear up. She recommended a Diamond Glow facial. When I asked her how much it would be she said $110. I figured this would be great, I could use my gift card and pay $30 in cash. The facial was horrible and I felt like the esthetician used the machine for the first time on me. When I went to the front desk, the esthetician ran to the back. The girl at the front looked confused and said "wait don't you have a gift card? I don't know why it's coming up as $110 still" Turns out the Diamond Glow is an add on so it was $110 plus the cost of the facial. The esthetician was not truthful and I would have never paid this amount. It was extremely unprofessional and I will not return, even to use my other $80 gift card I have.

This place is very quiet and lovely! I came in for a facial today with Alex and she was very amazing and lovely! The front desk is also great as well, with Dolly and Antony who were knowledgeable of their stuff! Already booked my next facial !! Recommended for anyone whose looking for a facial done, and get Alex! She has hands that work magical !!
