This is the b&b that shows up if you search for underground railroad bed & breakfast. Unfortunately, it's marketing hype.

I made reservations for April then had to change scheduled dates and she was able to accommodate me. Very nice lady!
Will do proper review after my stay.

I was having lunch and overheard one of the staff and an older lady talking about the vaccine. The staff member said " why do you care you will be dead in a few years. ".

A few minutes passed and then the staff members said to the older lady again. " why do you care you will be dead in a few years".

How I see things is you do not have to remind older people they are going to die. They have lived their lives as they saw fit. And I felt this was a very rude comment to say to people who have laid the path for us to travel.

If the staff is going to treat their patrons like this I would say to stay away from eating here or you will be totally disrespected if you are or close to retirement. Or for that matter at any age you may be disrespected

Extremely historical, almost everything including food, shops, and more was all in walking distance. The owner is very personable and made the absolute BEST breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I were passing through Glasgow late one night and in desperate need of a bed. It was after 10pm but the owners, Karin and Gary, were happy to accommodate such last minute guests. The common rooms of the Inn were very warm & cozy and decorated with beautiful themes. Our room was gorgeous with its canopy bed and antique dressers. In the morning we were served a delicious home-cooked breakfast of eggs, french toast, fruit, yogurt and fresh orange juice. We spent some time later chatting with Karin and Gary and they shared all of the interesting history's of Hall Place and the Glasgow community. We are definitely including Hall Place on our list of stops the next time we take a road trip through the south. Thanks Again!

Warm, hospitable, unique, and comfortable rooms. It felt like home!! Ms. Veta couldn't be nicer and the food that she made was by far some of the best I've had! We decided to stay two nights, because we felt safe and welcomed. I highly recommend visiting this Kentucky jewel if you're passing by!

Just to let everyone know, I scheduled another business trip to Glasgow last month. I booked for four nights then reduced my nights once I arrived because my work schedule changed after I got there. I was charged my original booking because there is a 30 day no-change policy I was not aware of. Please note this! It was not evident to me and being a frequent traveler who is used to 24 hour cancellation policies, I took for granted it was the same here. Karin was kind enough to refund me the two nights with some pleading but asking her to do that was not pleasant. Hall Place is still one of my favorite places to stay. The shower head in the Greer Room at their place on main street was simply heaven. Thank you Karin for showing me grace!! Melissa
