    • Q:

Are there any fishing spots here that I can enjoy with my 7 year old son? Thanks for any answers.

      A:

Yes... there is a man made kind of waterway by the bridge side of the beach that people fish off of and I actually seen people catch fish there. Good luck.

One of the first beaches you'll see when hitting the north shore. Lots of parking and places to roam around. Surfing, swimming, people watching or even Tide pooling. This park has it all. The bathrooms are clean and lots of places to even picnic. It was 9am when I visited so many surfers and surf lessons were happening. I was eating my acai bowl while watching the surfers. It is a bit rockier here than other beaches around town so choose wisely. Don't forget to look for the sea turtles too! Plenty around.

Beautiful Sunday! Nice and breezy! Clean bathroom at the building where lifegaurds are located. Come early for parking.

You can see turtles on the sand.

One of my favs! Would come here as a kid. Parking is super easy and there is quite a bit of it. Good spot to go swimming in the ocean if that's what you're looking to do. Also a great place to watch the sunset.

Love this beach, not too crowded, lots of honu, lots of parking, bathrooms, what more can you ask for. It's not like Waikiki beach, that's for sure. There is also a basketball court as well. I always come here when I visit Oahu. It is also close to town so you can go there before or after the beach. Can't wait to come back..........

A peaceful beach park that is relatively clean with a couple of provided facilities. The park includes basketball and volleyball courts plus a playground. Bathrooms and a foot washing stations are available as well.

The Haleiwa Beach Park War Memorial landmark is stationed here, and the concrete structures add a nice touch. There is a public parking lot with abundant spots. So empty that we saw the bizarre sight of a person absentmindedly driving their pickup truck in circles around the lot a good portion of the time during our visit.

This is a pretty small quiet north Shore beach. There's parking and a restroom/change area that was clean and enough Beach to lay out your stuff. It's not big and there's not really space for activities, but we got some sun and plenty of sand in our hair, so it did the job.

My kids really LOVE this beach. Not many tourist at this beach. Which is cool and it's not over packed. Love the vibe of the locals. You can jet ski which we did here. Some locals fishing or boating. They have a area where you can jump off a stick kinda dangerous but that's the risk.

Quiet, comfortable. Parking! Bathrooms! Space to grill or picnic. Lots of young kids were surfing, which was cool.

If there is a word to describe this beach + park, that would be "tranquil". This place has great vibes and we understand why it is a popular hang out among locals. There is a bathroom towards the beach side with a big and beautiful Banyan tree nearby. There are lots of parking spaces. Whenever we come to the North Shore we would stop here. Great place to rest or picnic BBQ.

The parking lot is nice. Bigger than most around. Changing room and bathrooms are ok. Close to town. However, the roof on the pavilion has been gone for awhile. The grounds could use some refreshing.
