We loved the variety of beautiful inventory. We purchased some gorgeous crystal and pieces of jewelry.

I've been to this shop twice now, and I am singing the praises of its antique jewelry selection all over Illinois. I'm a former gemologist/jeweler out of Chicago, and I've specialized in vintage & antique pieces. If you're a lover of truly unique, interesting, and high quality pieces, please do yourself a favor and have a little wander over to this shop. The staff is warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly live their work. Also, they're super pressure-free on the sales approach. But the jewels are AMAZING and so fairly priced.

A pretty devoted (read: addicted) antique jewelry collector, I will be back to visit this shop many times. Hopefully my next piece will come from you guys!!

I purchased (what I thought were) diamond studs from Gustafson & Grey about a year and a half ago. At the time, I received pretty terrible customer service. The gentleman helping me was incredibly rude and short with me while I was deciding on my purchase. I asked him if he verified the jewelry to ensure it was real and that the $500 I was about to spend was well worth it. He told me that they still wouldn't be in business if they sold fake jewelry. Turns out I should have been more careful. After getting the earrings cleaned, I was curious at what they would retail for. I asked my jeweler and he let me know I was sold white sapphire earrings that I could have purchased for $50. Would highly recommend you don't make any major purchases from Gustafson & Grey.

The person that waited on us was the rudest person I have met in business. The words I have in mind for this gentleman are not in Webster's yet.

Well I was visiting Galena and wandered into this place. Ok I saw a bunch of sparkly things and my brain immediately went "oooo shiny!" They have a great selection of unique antique jewelry in all price ranges. The woman behind the counter was super sweet and kept on entertaining my desire to try on jewelry even though I'm not high Rolling when it comes to jewelry and had no intention to buy bc I assumed everything was out of my range. Although, I have a weak spot for antique, Edwardian and Art Deco. Anyways, the lady showed me this perfectly sweet, unique 14k gold ring with a teeny tiny diamond...and it was in a price point I was comfortable with! Sold! Also, my birthstone is diamond :) My friend got a super cool deco sterling silver bangle partially wrapped in leather. Hers was in the sale rack so it was marked down. Honestly, in San Francisco, I would not have been surprised if the same ring was hundreds of dollars more cuz that's par for the course. I've definitely seen lesser quality rings for far more in SF. Anyways, loved the selection and the staff was so awesome and really knew how to make a sale without being obvious about it or high pressure. If I ever make it back to Galena, I'm definitely popping in.

Great shop. Clean, cheerful, feminine, elegant. Really needed earrings -- got a bunch of cute ones, vintage and new. All very reasonable. Got a pair of chunky silver Tiffany hoops for $50, quite the score. Left with about 8 pairs -- couldn't wait to bring them home and sort my little treasures.

I love to stop at this place. Great selection of really unique antique jewelry. The store is impeccably clean and the staff are wonderful.
