Growco Indoor Garden Supply

I've driven by Growco thousands of times and for some reason I always just thought they sold grow lights for in-home marijuana grow operations. That's totally not true, just in case you also were under the same impression.

We stopped in recently for some fertilizer for Nate's new bonsai tree and were greeted by a very friendly and super helpful employee who showed us a few different options for the tree. The amount of different fertilizers available at Growco blew my mind! They have specific types of supplements and additives, or if you need a general blend, there are lots of options for those too. We got a blend that is good for all types of plants, including flowers, vegetable plants, etc. They have a great selection of organic fertilizers too. In addition, the store carries supplies for hydroponic gardening, lights, pots and containers, seeds, and a little greenhouse full of bonsai trees! We were so thrilled to find this nice selection of bonsai so close to home.

The history of the store is pretty incredible - it's been around since 1997 and even had a website back then. The owner was inspired by visiting Epcot at Disney back in the 80s, which I think is really cool. If you have a garden or plants, or want to start a garden, definitely stop by Growco to get some information and supplies.

Always helpful, knowledgable, and fun. I go in just to learn things, and to checkout their discount section! The store seems small, but they have a warehouse just a mile away, plus they pack a lot of products in this shop. If you are really into plants then you will want to buy products and get some lessons in botany :)

That unexpected occurrence where your expectations are exceeded by both customer service (Scott was incredibly helpful and just a nice guy all around), great product selection (they had literally everything we wanted), and great prices (at no point did I think "this stuff is marked way up".

My wife and I were planning to start our outdoor garden seeds indoors this year (take that Michigan weather), and Growco had everything we could possibly need. We highly recommend them - and they'll teach you how to use the items you buy (take that Amazon).

This is a great store with excellent staff and customer service. We showed up not realizing that they had closed 20 minutes prior, but when we told them what we needed they opened back up to help us out. Thanks!

Back in the day these folks were the 'only show in town'...or being more accurate the 'only show in the state' ...they were cutting edge then and still are. Their customer service is impeccable -- friendly, knowledgable and resourceful is hard to beat. They are also very VERY fair in their pricing and go out of their way to combine items to be shipped in one box and/or shipment so as to save the customer time and $$. Wendy, their warehouse mngr is just TOO AWESOME COOL!!! Thanks to all the folks at GROWCO!!

This is the best shop in town no question! I have been going here for years and the excellent customer service along with top notch expertise continues to be invaluable to me. I feel fortunate to have such a great shop in my hometown!!!
