Is this place dog friendly?
A:
Yes they have some outdoor seating... just maybe like a table and some chairs not really any shade though. But last time I went there was a dog bowl and snacks just outside the door.

These guys are the masters of mushrooms!
Each dish was delicious but all the ones that had mushrooms within them were mouth-watering! We came to the conclusion that the appetizer, Holy Shiitake, was the best due to its robust flavoring and unique way of frying, I almost wanted to say Holy Shiitake myself! Nothing is too oily, but everything is filling.
Definitely coming back here next time we visit! - Cesar H.Los Angeles, CA01213/18/2023
Consistently great, decent portions and a genuinely tasty vegan-centric place. My wife isn't a vegan, but she still loves it.
My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich and she loves the Philly cheese steak.
Also, it's never too busy inside! - Lani B.Riverside, CA1867424/22/2023
Positive: food is always hot, tasty & plentiful. Staff is always friendly. Greeted upon entry. Never crazy busy. Nice quiet, calming atmosphere.
Negative: parking, drink options - Ayushi S.San Diego, CA09142/5/2023
A nice place for vegan food !!
Like their drunken angel and potato wedges !! Fettuccini was a bit disappointing!!
Popcorn cauliflower was a nice dish !! Though the buffalo sauce was a bit on the high side per our taste !!
Good options with hard beverages !!
Overall a good place !!

Amazing food. I attended a party here today and every dish I tried was amazing, perfectly seasoned and with delightful texture. I'm not even vegan but I ate until my stomach hurt! Absolutely delicious!

Grains is a San Diego gem! This is the perfect place to come grab a delicious vegan bite with your significant other, some friends, or family. There is a small parking lot behind the shop, but there's also options for street parking as well. We came around 6pm for dinner and it was not packed at all. Once you enter inside, you are greeted by a homey and comforting ambiance. You order at the counter, go grab a seat wherever you like, and they bring your food to you. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. All the food we had was delicious, but the winner for me was the popcorn "chicken" and the banh mi! Come here for a bite and you will not be disappointed!

I had a family member who was vegan for a couple years and wanted to try different vegan spots throughout San Diego. We decided to give Grains a try and I loved it!
Even though I'm not vegan myself, I would come here just because I love it so much. I order the Grains Garden. It's a huge portion over veggies in their house special sauce served with jasmine wild rice. I have no idea what's in the house special sauce, I just know I'm obsessed with it!
I've also had the garlic potato wedges and buffalo cauliflower and loved both of them! - 5164793/12/2023
Nice little spot near with great ambiance. But was definitely disappointed with the food. Had the Tokyo fries and it was very mediocre. At first it was pretty good with the wasabi mayo, but sadly it went cold pretty quickly.

. Buffalo cauliflower had a big vinegar taste and it was over powering. Â
Drunken noodles were a bit bland but I'm not sure of it was because of  the strong vinegar flavor the cauliflower left in my mouth. Service was fast and they were attentive maybe one day I'll give it a second shot. - 71954668/27/2022
8/26/22: this is a spacious Thai vegetarian restaraunt. They carry some craft beer whereas most of these type of places usually do not. The "calamari" mushroom appetizer was a steamed fungus cut into strips with a lime- based dipping liquid. Rate that a 6/10. The pad thai was a 6/10 and the Angel hair pasta with veggies was 8/10. The tofu disguised as meat was not really disguised as much as some other places. Everything tasted well enough that I would consider coming again.
