Goose Ridge Estate Winery

I attended a Yelp event at the Woodinville Goose Ridge Estate Winery and while there, I purchased a bottle of their own Feather & Folly gin. I had tasted a cocktail made there called Bees Knees which has honey simple syrup, soda, gin and lemons (I might be missing an ingredient) and it was so delicious that I had to purchase this gin and take it home so I can try to replicate this cocktail.

In the past, I've purchased their home made Vodka (Seattle Kraken official Vodka) and liked it as well.

Goose Ridge makes great cider as well. This place has it all. Now I better buy some wine there!

A few years ago I went to Goose Ridge as part of a Yelp Elite event and then returned to enjoy some more. When a friend came to town wanting to do wine tasting I wanted to return to Goose Ridge.

We went during the week so the usual crowds was not at their typical mass. Still it was quite busy and we saw no available seats inside so we opted to sit outside. Goose Ridge has select tables set aside outside for guests which is close to another winery next door. We opted to each have a tasting and I very much enjoyed it. The lady who helped us informed us of each selection as she poured and then off to the next.

As I mentioned before I am not a huge wine drinker but I enjoy the tasting experience. I appreciate hearing about wine, the history, and soaking up the ambiance. While I did not buy anything at Goose Ridge we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The server set us up with a fire table and we went with both cider and wine flights.

Everything was very yummy, we had a good time.

As a regular visitor, huge Goose Ridge fan and (going on two years) enthusiastic wine club member, I'm SHOCKED that I haven't written a review yet! They are one of my favorite tasting rooms in Woodinville, and my go-to place for a wine-oriented meeting or even if I just need to plug in the ol' laptop for some work time with a glass of rose beside me.

Their tasting room is small, but lovely. It's the kind of place I feel comfortable visiting solo, or with a group. And the seating varies from a large group table in the back, to outdoor patio options (some with built-in firepits) and a lovely leather lounge chair setup next to their beautiful hearth.

And did I mention they have more than wine? Their cider is delish (and available on tap or in cans), and they're also the home of Vido Vodka, which is ahhhmazing in a bloody mary (or anything else vodka-related). They're also situated right in the middle of one of Woodinville's busiest wine districts, so it's a great place to start a day of wine tasting as there are several others within easy walking distance. And as a wine club member, let me just say they spoil ya rotten. Their club pick-up parties are a must-do, with entertainment, food, and (of course!) wine for all to enjoy.

Had 6 glasses of wine here last night and every single one was lovely. I especially enjoyed the rose and viognier! Rose was light and crisp, the other one was bold and flavorful. I must say I was very lucky to sit by the fireplace and next to some wine and plant experts, all leading to a very good night! Many people have said to join their wine club! But did you know they also make their own brandy and vodka?? This is a woman-owned, family-run business and they were very hospitable! I recommend you come and support them!

What a fantastic tasting experience! We ending up at Goose Ridge after work because it was one of the few tasting rooms open after 5pm on a weekday...and we are so, so glad we did!

First, we got the white, red and cider tasting to split. During the wine tasting, Matt was absolutely fantastic. He gave us so much personalized attention, even to answer the most random questions about wine, the flavors, and how to describe what you are tasting.

The cider was my least favorite part of the experience - but even that was delicious! The apple spiced cider...big YUM!

Overall, I loved this experience, the service was just so personalized, and the wine was delicious!

We love this winery and enjoy the tasting rooms both in Leavenworth and in Woodinville. My favorite thing is definitely the variety, they have something for everyone! Some in our group drink only reds, some whites, then we have cider lovers too! Gooseridge has it all! Even a vodka if you've had enough wine and cider and are ready to party!

This tasting room has a nice intimate atmosphere with romantic lighting, warm tones, and comfortable furniture so you can sit back and enjoy your tasting. When we last visited the individuals pouring for us were friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great time just relaxing and sipping wine. Lovely spot!

During my time in Woodinville my cousin was insistent that we stop in to Goose Ridge. She told me about their ciders as she's not big into wines. Instead of ordering a glass I thought, why not give all of their ciders a try!? Our server was so nice! They told that you have the option of shipping some cider or wine to you. Depending on where in the United States you live.

Goose Ridge offers a great selection of wines for tastings as well as ciders.
My favorite is the Vireo, it pairs well with meat and cheeses. I like to stop at Village Wines which is next door, before hand and order some snacks for delivery at Goose Ridge. I tend to spend a fair amount at Goose Ridge so having some snacks is great. The location itself is very clean and organized with a great atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge at times but I think that goes for all wineries along this stretch. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable.

We were tasting next door and saw how lively this wine tasting room was and decided to come over after our other tasting, we are glad we did!

I forgot the name of our server, but he was an older gentleman. He was amazing, friendly, talkative and outgoing. He was sure a talker but he knew his shit. He even sold us a bottle! We did the red tasting flight and liked some of their reds. But he sold us a bottle of their 2013 blend, some merlot and mostly cab for our dinner at the Metropolitan grill. He wasn't wrong, he recommended it and said that it will go very well with our steak and it did! We loved it.
