My dad got my boyfriend golf lessons with Marc as a gift for his birthday and he could not have picked a better gift! After the lesson he went on and on about how beneficial it was. After a few swings Marc was able to diagnose the main issue with the swing and make the proper adjustment. They were able to work through irons, driver and sand wedge within the hour and he is excited to put the revamped swing to use on the course. He also particularly loved the screen that you hit into and the type of data you are able to derive from it (angle of contact, open vs closed club face, etc.). It was easy to see how the adjustment translated into better data and better contact. Now he is excited to put what he learned to use on the course.

We did a group event there for a small work function and had a great time. Marc is a great instructor and made the lesson relaxing and fun. Very few of us knew anything about golf, but we all walked away with some really helpful fundamentals and a better appreciation for how the game is played. Would highly recommend for a small group function!

I took five lessons with Marc on a golf simulator. He was very helpful and encouraging. I was almost a beginner when I began the lessons and made good improvements on distance that I can strike and control of distance and direction. I enjoyed the game and am thinking of continuing the indoor game or playing on a golf course sometime.
I took indoor golf lessons when I was in college but i didn't learn much about the skills, especially was bad on consistency. I feel the lessons with Marc were so much better. I met with Marc five times, one hour each time. He can always easily pinpoint the problem in my movements, give me instructions to improve and spend a lot of time letting me repeat and build my consistency. We covered a few clubs including iron, sand wedge and putter. I wish I could learn more from him if time permits.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Josh A.New York, NY475121Jun 10, 2016
Marc is the best. I have a background playing hockey and he has been the only one to effectively make the transition to golf. The progress that we've made in two sessions so far has been incredible. Explains concepts very clearly and with just a few sessions will improve your game. Couldn't recommend him more highly. Also doesn't hurt that his location in midtown Manhattan is so convenient.

Marc is a great instructor! I would highly recommend him to anyone who strives to improve their game. He is patient and thorough but does not waste your time. He very easily breaks down your swing identifying your problem areas and then provides you with easy ways to fix them. Highly Recommended!!
Below is a recap of my experience
I am a self-taught golfer, and I have always seen lessons as a waste of time for any sport that I have played (Soccer, Baseball). However, a few weeks ago I decided to go against my best judgement and take a lesson to work out some of the kinks in my swing and get warmed up for the new season.
After inquiring about Marc's services, Marc gave me a call and asked me several questions with regards to what sports I've played, how long I've been golfing, my goals and what I was looking to improve, to name a few. I told Marc that I had just started learning how to play last year and that I was relatively new to the game, but that I learn fairly quickly. In addition, I told him I specifically wanted to focus on the fundamentals of the swing and my short game.
Marc seemed to understand that I wanted to get the most information I could get packed into the lesson so that I could take the information with me and work on it fully on my own. He started with the basic fundamentals of my swing by recording a few of my shots and breaking down everything that I had done well and what he thought needed to be changed. I had already entered the lesson with pre assumptions of what was wrong with my swing, and Marc picked out my issue instantly. I was not shifting enough of my weight on to my back foot during the backswing. Therefore, I was hitting a lot of fat shots and losing club head speed. Marc showed me how to fix this problem by properly shifting my weight.
Then Marc helped me practice my short game while incorporating what I had just learned with regard to weight shift. I practiced hitting several targets at different yard lengths from 50/60/70/80/90/100. He showed me how to control my distance with one club by only changing one variable in the swing.
Lastly, Marc showed me several techniques for chipping and pitching around the green, while also focusing on solid contact with the ball.
The lesson experience for me was great because I was able to take in a lot of information at once and bring it home to practice on my own. We never spent too much time on one area because Marc knew that wasn't my goal. The best part was that it was evident Marc understood what I wanted out of the lesson and had reviewed the notes I had given him on my swing. He then geared the lesson toward those notes, and I really appreciated it.
In addition to the lesson time itself, Marc sent me a video a few days after the lesson with a recap of the fundamentals we had worked on with my weight shift. This I found over-the-top and an extremely useful piece of information because I can now analyze my swing at home in slow motion.
I will definitely be returning for another lesson soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - M M.Manhattan, NY163Feb 2, 2015
Marc has been awesome. After 3 lessons, I've made a few alterations to my swing and I'm hitting my short irons 35% farther and my long clubs 25% farther. He is an excellent teacher, which I think is partly due to the fact that he picked up the game later in life, and thus had to strain to learn all the micro concepts of the swing (as opposed to it coming naturally from playing his entire childhood). This allows him to identify and articulate issues with my swing and suggest an efficient corrections.
