Let me start off by saying that I have never been to a more friendlier restaurant than Golden Kitchen. You definitely feel that family vibe the moment you enter the restaurant.

I've been to this place several times now and I always try to order different dishes each time. Our awesome waitress, Irene, always recommends the perfect dishes that I didn't even know I was craving! But no matter what, I always order the Tom Yum soup with seafood every time because it's honestly the tastiest soup ever! It has the perfectly limey, sour, and spicy taste.

The DUI noodles is also a great dish that everyone in my family seems to love. It's definitely a safe choice if you're just trying out Thai food for the first time but please try out all the different currys and entrees because that's what makes this restaurant worth coming back to all the time!

The portions are generous as I always seem to take my leftovers home. Don't forget to use the Yelp discount and get a free Thai iced tea (it's seriously so good) and make sure to top off your meal with the mango sticky rice!

Just recently moving to Fallbrook and missing our Thai food dinners. So we would have to drive outside of Fallbrook to get our Thai food fix. When we saw a banner reading Thai Food coming soon we were thrilled.
So we have been already been here a handful of times. And as a rule of thumb which we haven't followed, give the place a few months before trying to work out the kinks.
So our first time was fine. The place was a little too simple on the decor side. It looks as though they could be closing the place instead of it being a grand opening. We came a couple of weeks after they first opened. The curry we ordered was a little too runny, but tasted fine. The Prik Khing, was not what we were expecting, the sauce was runny, but the shrimp was cooked just right and also a good size. The service was friendly
So my last visit was June 12, 2015. The server, Mariela, was very friendly and helpful. My order for that day was the Panang Curry, which I forgot to mention to my server I wanted the lunch special. Instead I got the dinner plate, which was fine I had leftovers for dinner and lunch the next day.
If you are looking to order the lunch special mention it so you get the great lunch special. My panang curry with chicken was great. Plenty of chicken, but the one thing missing was the kaffir lime leaves, which is mentioned as one of the ingredients on the menu. I only know this because it is one of my favorite Thai ingredients. So I asked my server if I could please get a side of it. She came back with a dish of whole kaffir lime leaves asking if this was what I was asking for. I said yes, but I would like it cut in strips and I could see the chef standing off to the side listening. Then he understood how I wanted and kindly cut them in strips. It adds a great flavor (like lemongrass).
I opted for brown rice with my dish. I wish they would offer a little bit more rice for the dinner dishes.
I ordered the Thai Iced Coffee which was yummy. I made room for dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice. Best to get when the mangoes are in season, they are sweeter and softer.
I was really happy with my visit. I feel they are more consistent with their spicy levels than some other places.
This will be the place to go for better service and Thai food in Fallbrook.

I've never had such a bad Thai. The pad Thai I had was dry, with literally 4 pieces of tofu , 2 broccolis and 5 slices of carrot. And it tasted like toilet product.
The 4 others plates we had were just as dry with almost not meat. The chow mein had 2 shrimps in it...
      Such a shame.

The dry as F* 5 veggies 4 pieces of tofu chemical pad Thai...

The yellow curry is the best! Definitely recommend! Even though I don't live nearby I will definitely make the trip back here to get the food. I'm a lover of thai food and this place absolutely makes my top favorite places to go :)

Great food and great service in a cute hacienda like building surrounded by other shops. A definite place to come back with friends or family. Kid, family friendly. Bring a date, great environment, friendly staff which I always look for. I'll be back!

Just had dinner here tonight. The restaurant is a bit hidden and can't be seen from the street, so it's hard to locate if you are not from the area. I saw so many amazing reviews on Yelp abut their food , but really didn't expect much (I guess living in LA has made me bit of a food snob ), but boy I had their tom yum soup and one of their chicken dish, and they were just fantastic! I asked for extra spicy- these people def know what extra spicy means. I really love my food and all the wonderful flavors they had. I will def be back if I'm ever in Fallbrook again.

      Love spicy!

So so good. Best pad Thai I've gotten in years. And it was really refreshing to walk into an Asian restaurant that didn't look like the decor came from a garage sale. There was no tackiness to the atmosphere, the waitress (who was the owners daughter) was very sweet and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Thai food!
Oh, not to mention that fact that it's in Jackson Square makes the atmosphere even more precious.

Very happy!! Such a cute little place!!
It was my first time here and ordered the Pad Thai noodles and had some of my friend's green curry-both were excellent! Servings were plentiful, fast service, and the customer service was great!
Also, if you like Thai Iced Tea-then this is your place!
I will definitely be back for more!

Excellent food and service I love their garden rolls with cilantro vinegar dressing and their Pad Thai and sticky rice and mango. My husband loves their DUI noodles and we both love their coconut seafood soup. The service is fantastic!

We were greeted politely when we entered. Our server Mercedes, was very sweet, patient and helpful. She recommended several dishes including her favorites. We received a free Thai tea for checking in on Facebook. We started with Chicken Satay which was served with the customary peanut sauce and sweet cucumbers. We followed with shrimp Tom Yum which was perfect for our taste. Not too sour or overly sweet. Main entrees were shrimp green curry and Panang beef. Both dishes were delicious. We consider this good American style Thai food. We were full so we passed on dessert. We will return.
