Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

So let me be honest, the only thing I like from Golden Corral is the yeast rolls. Well, 1 day before Thanksgiving I stopped by this location at 9:03 (after looking online and verifying this specific location closed at 10). Well, apparently they had not updated the hours and they actually close at 9. I called in to see if someone would sell me 1 dozen of rolls since online hours were wrong and I could still see customers eating inside. After Rudely getting told "close at 9" over and over I got hung up on. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVER. The rudeness right at the crazy holiday time hit me hard and since my family owns its own restaurant I do not understand why I could not purchase 12 rolls that ultimately would end up in the trash minutes later.

The 3 stars is nothing against this place specifically its just a buffet and I want you to manage your expectations for taste to lower quality higher quantity. The staff is very friendly but its pretty much self serve so dont expect a waitress/er. Its a great place to bring kids because they have a lot of options. The highlight is the slushy machine! 3 flavors to choose from, mango, lime and blue raspberry.

The place you take your family when everyone wants something different to eat. They have something for everyone. We came here during dinner time and the girls really enjoyed their food. I only came for the fried chicken lol! Service was cool could've been better. The inside was clean and bright!

Hey its my first Buffet since Covid hit. I have a horrible dislike for buffets for horrible service and unclean areas. This place is amazing. The food yes is pan based fare but is as good as you would want from the other resturant that are made to order. But the staff was the best service I have encountered. The place is well staffed and the days of wasted food every where is gone. I hate to say it but this has been my best food since being in town now 6 weeks. Unexpected as all get out!

I used to love going to GC. Now the food lacks flavor, veggies are watered down, and some of the wait staff would rather socialize than keep a check on their customers.

I came here for some fine dinning and my ice cream melted in 0.000001 seconds not lying this food is water down knock off chick-fil-a and mcdonald, nice staff though, my drink tastes like water and sugar not diet coke.

Pitiful what happened to this place.
I had placed an order yesterday online and came up here to pick up my order,but they were not open, I didn't worry cause I THOUGHT you didn't get billed until u picked up the food... WRONG!!!!
They were closed. I saw it was billed the next morning, so I called to have someone put me in hold for 15 to 20 min than I hung up called right back for her to answer the phone saying I'm sorry the manager is not here. I said, "How long was u going to leave me on hold till you told me"-. The girl said, "Wait her, they come and put me on hold again for another 10min. I hung up. I was frustrated by this time.
When I got off of work I called again and was sent straight to music a girl finally came to phone but said I'm sorry wrong phone and back on hold I went for another 20min while I drove from work to Golden Corral.
Where I found the manager and explained what I had gone through, he apologized and said my money would be reimbursed.
Wow !!! All I can say is that wow!!!

We reserved a room for a large group of friends last week. The staff did an excellent job making arrangements for our group and taking care of our needs. The food was excellent. I was especially impressed with the vegetables which were cooked just right; the shrimp and ham were also very good. My husband said his steak was cooked well and was a good cut of meat. There were no complaints from our group with any part of the meal. The room was very nice and spacious. Restaurant was clean.

Had good service but we found a roach leg in our banana pudding. I have listed a photo below to show it. Normally we don't have these problems and this has only happened to us once. It was absolutely gross.

72 hour smorgasbord... never knew how hard this one would hit me to lose to a better Wildcat but here we are! Did you know the meat here is all you can eat?!?!? Amazing!! Feel fit as a fiddle now for next season of mediocrity. Lotta slippage at this one though. Apparently I'm not the only Cayut fan who enjoys a big meal and has the sweats. Place was littered with BBN fans... uncomfortable at first, but most left after 24 hours. Excellent service, delicious meat, and sundaes with sprinkles!! You gotta go Golden at the Corral!!

I used to be a big fan of Golden Corral. It was always a really good value and usually the food was tasty and fresh. I haven't been there in over a year but I decided to stop in at this location because it seemed to be fairly busy at lunch time. Well the first thing I noticed was that literally every plate had chunks of food left on it from their dishwasher! I had to sift through the pile of dishes just to find one that had one clean side. The food itself didn't taste too bad, and it did seem fairly fresh, but it gave me major digestive issues later on in the day! Not sure if that was due to the lack of cleanliness or bad food, but either way I will not be back to this Golden Corral!
