I Love buffets! This one is above and beyond a "normal" buffet. It has everything you could even think to want to eat! My favorite time of day is the breakfast buffet.

The services was good empty place didn't sit on the table to long. I think some stuff on the walls would help the ambience. The food was okay. There stuff to make a salad is lacking. There's stuff to put together a Caesar salad but that's it. (I knew why got to a buffet and get a salad.) (I'm the only on in my family that likes them soo I don't get them that often. That's why) there isn't any toppings for the ice cream. The desserts weren't the best. This one is so small not much room for food. With the one in Saratoga springs was still open. That was a bigger restaurant. I'm happy they reopened.......but I can see me living without this restaurant. That's my opinion. And you know what they say about opinions. The seats ain't that comfy.
1/21/2018Previous reviewWasn't happy when they got rid of Pepsi production. Now they why they are packing them silverware (forks, knives, and strews) no spoons I'm assuming you have to ask for the spoons. I wasn't happy with the changes. And it will be a long time before I go back.

Good buffet, I was expecting a larger variety but it was still good. Great for the price. Food itself was good; the bourbon chicken was awesome.
Unfortunately the cleanliness wasn't awesome, I don't know if they took advantage of the updated building and didn't clean at all cause it still looks now or they just
Got lazy with the bathrooms because they were gross. - 28228821977/30/2018
Buffet out in lake george for some reason some of my family likes this place i think because it is affordable and ayce. But i am sorry even thought the prices are on the low i would rather eat somewhere with better quality food and less salt! It is decent and standard buffet with mostly american food but its a lot of heavy, fried or heavily salted food. The steak is hit or miss you can get what they consider a medium or medium rare piece. This is probably the best thing you can get if it comes out right. They had some fajita type food like shrimp or chicken with peppers, barely got to eat it because they never came out with more. Comfort food brings you to think about like thanksgiving food. They got a salad bar and desserts with a chocolate fountain and cotton candy.
Vibes are super casual and most likely townies. Just asked for a pitcher because we had the back room for like 30 of us service was fine. They don't restock the food as quickly as i would like. - Alicia B.East Brunswick, NJ34843517437/24/2017
My family and I got here around 10am on a Sunday morning ..just in time for breakfast! We paid about $40+tax for the buffet and were seated right away. There were many empty tables and lots of parking spots available.
The buffet offers several types of beverages including coffee and tea. The selection was great! I loved the omelet station and also got 4 waffles ordered here. You can customize the mini-waffles with strawberry and cool whip, etc.
By 11, there was a change over with pork and other choices for a decent "brunch". The french toast and biscuits were also delicious!
I also enjoyed the service. The waiter was great and attentive. The young lady at the omelet station was so friendly and helpful. I did not like how untidy certain area were however, due to the high volume i'm sure it's unavoidable. - Rob L.Red Hook, NY183019/11/2019
Awful. I've been to a bunch of GC's in the past five years or so, as it's my step-son's pick when it's his turn and we're on the road for sporting events.
This one is worth the miss. Poorly prepared and maintained buffet, substandard staff, and a general air of apathy make this particular location worth skipping.Business owner information

My first experience at any Golden Corral and let me tell you, much better than I expected. For $12, you get yourself a full buffet, a made to order steak (if you come for dinner) and an array of desserts, including fresh spun cotton candy and hard ice cream.
You can't beat it for the price and for the most part, the food is pretty decent. You're at a cheap buffet, so you have to lower your standards a bit. You aren't going to get 5 Star dishes, but you will get food that you won't spit out and that you could get full on.
Service was great and for the most part, the restaurant was clean. Of course a few dirty dishes, but you just pick another plate. Self-service for the most part, they will refill your drinks though, once you sit down. All in all, more of a 3.5 star, but I rounded up. Left here extremely full and pretty satisfied. - James H.Rancho Cucamonga, CA116446110/16/2014
I can find nothing negative to say about this Golden Corral. The buffet was well-stocked and full of variety, and the good itself was really good. Our server (Nikia) was friendly and kept our table clean and clear.
Will definitely be back. Although I'll probably try to eat less...Too full now. Must. Unbutton. Pants. - Nancy G.Hudson Falls, NY0256/4/2016
Went to lunch. For $12 you get the buffet, and I suppose you get your money's worth. But can't say I felt thrilled. The quality of the hot food wasn't up to snuff, and the hot food also was very haphazardly placed with no rhyme or reason to it. All in all, the food felt very institutional and while my waitress was nice, it was all very impersonal. Having worked in the food service industry and having been cooking since 1974, and having been to cooking school, I have high standards. I know good from mediocre. And this was mediocre at best. This was on par with hospital and other institutional food. Which for the price, wasn't worth it.
Lunch crowd wasn't exactly classy, quite frankly I've seen better dressed patrons in Burger King or Mcdonalds! , if you're spending that much on lunch you could at least make the effort to look like you have the pride and ambition to dress properly for lunch!
I'm no snob, and I was in jeans and a tee...but good jeans and a nice tee. One person walking by even smelled bad. And the behavior of some people! I'm disabled and got butted in front of by some walking livestock eager for the pot roast. Make the effort to dress and behave like civilized adults, when you go out to lunch, people! Have some standards, don't be lazy Americans. I mean, one person was wearing pajama bottoms. What the heck was with that? You're out to lunch, not at a slumber party or a crack den!
Though my table was cleared by the waitress promptly, when I wanted a cup of coffee--which was pretty damned awful, I had to chase the waitress down. Why can't they have soda and coffee dispensers for people to get themselves, when we can help ourselves to the food? Why do we have to chase down a waitress? Too cheap to give us all-we-can-drink?
All in all, not going back. Not in a position where I can take disposable income for granted, and if I'm going to pay that much for lunch ever again, I'm definitely going to a proper restaurant with decent food and patrons have a little pride in their appearance, who don't like like they just rolled out of bed and are too lazy to dress decent (not to mention bathe) to go out to eat.
