Gold Nugget Saloon

We were in town from St Louis to see a badgers game. It was getting late and we were hungry. Found this little gem. Great place for fun music and great drinks. Although we went for some food, we got there too late. 4 Fireball shots later...we didn't mind.

If nothing else, order the cowboy bites.

Burgers were good and employees were lovely.

What a great place! The burgers were on point and you cannot beat the price! The staff was so nice and attentive. I would absolutely go back. There isn't a ton to eat in this area and this place is an absolute gem.

My husband and I come here frequently for a burger, fries, and ice-cold beer. The food is always solid. My favorite is the mushroom and Swiss burger! ONE time during an especially frantic lunch rush, our fries were overdone.

I kid. No biggie. The Nugget is a typical Wisconsin bar scene, with very friendly bartenders and cooks--and the prices really can't be beat. We will continue to be regulars.

This is really the place to be on a Saturday night in Wisconsin!

Not only are jaeger-bombs cheap here, but the beer is too. Both are freely flowing as the DJ spins all night long under the massive disco ball that shines bright upon Waunakee's finest getting hot & steamy on the dance floor below.

I've been to clubs in New York, Chicago & San Francisco, and although those places had their appeal, nothing can compare to dancing the night away in a packed bar on Waunakee's Main Street to the tunes of "Shout" and "Mony, Mony"

The worst. No bar tenders behind the bar. They were both sitting at the bar chatting with their friends. Had basically beg them to move from their barstools to ask for a drink. Kendra was extremely rude to me specifically.

The "Nugget" has got one of the best burgers around. The meat is local and fresh. It literally melts in your mouth. There's no need to spend $10 on a burger when you can get something this good at half the price. The staff are always friendly and the beer is always cold. It's a great small town bar!
