The spinach Feta Cheese brioche was delicious, love the lattes as always especially the sugar cookie one this holiday season. The service was quick and nice and we love a little student discount. The ambiance is a great spot to study or catch up with friends. Free WiFi to lock in for online studying. Wish it was open/had longer hours some days they close around 3.

Good change of scenery to study or catch up with friends. Food and bakery looks good even though I haven't had anything from that category yet.

Coffee yes, iced tea no!
Now I remember why I stopped buying iced tea from Global Village. You cannot, and should not, ever sell cloudy tea! This is the second time I've informed the staff at GV that cloudy tea is bad business. We are in the South, after all. If you can't brew decent iced tea, don't bother.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 20, 2022
I wish this little spot was somewhere other than Hillsborough Street because, if parking was easier, I'd be here all the time! (So maybe that's a win for my wallet) It was pretty busy for 12pm on a Saturday afternoon, but the two young women who were running things kept the line moving. They were friendly, which I always appreciate. It appears that once they run out of food items in the cases, that's it for the day (my friend got the last panini).
The apple chai-der was the best drink I've had in a long time! They made it extra hot, just like I asked. The chai spices had a definite kick, but they mixed well with the sweetness of the apple cider. So good! For food, I got bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich and some sort of ham and cheese croissant that had a tasty honey mustard on it. The latter was definitely the better of the two. Hot this local spot up if you're nearby!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 75375843Dec 12, 2022
This is a little small coffee shop on Hillsborough street. So mainly college students in there. I got a blueberry muffin and eggnog iced mocha. The cashier seemed a bit overwhelm she took orders, made the drinks and collected payment. Wish my muffin was warmed up. But other than that the drink and muffin was good. Wouldn't say it's better then Starbucks though .

Visited on a Thursday morning at approx 7:45am (during the summer). I went in at a good time. Very little wait. Friendly service. I ordered a latte with no foam & think it was a good tasting brand that they served. I think they may need to work slightly on stocking a few items at the customer prep station: stevia & the cup wraps (to protect you from the heat of the coffee on to-go cups) - - other than that this is a wonderful place and I'll happily visit again when I get the chance!

I love the tomato and cheese breakfast sandwich. It's something a little different from other options in the area. This place is always lively and full of students or older gentlemen enjoying their morning coffee. I love that they have so many flavors of syrup to choose from!

Wonderful small business. I went to college at NC State and this place was a haven while working on school assignments while staying caffeinated. The owner Mike and all employees are kind and friendly. I get the mocha (with peppermint, when the syrup is available) and it's divine. I love their commitment to organic, eco-friendly coffee and products--most if not all of their coffee is Fair Trade and shade-grown in addition to being organic, and I'm pretty sure their cups are compostable.
They've also got a program where you can pay for a cup of coffee, and a token gets added to a jar next to the register. Anyone who finds themselves needed a warm cup of coffee but lacking the means to pay can come in and use a token from the jar. Such a great program that shows how much they value and support our community.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 15766444807Aug 22, 2019
So impressed with this great coffee shop! I had the most delicious iced Americano with sugar free vanilla, I was dreaming about it the next morning. My sister wanted herbal tea which is actually more difficult to find than you would imagine. There were lots of organic options and the coffee was organic too which makes a nice flavor difference. Local honey available to add to drinks.
The inside was cozy and dark with lots of seating options and awesome artifacts on display from around the world. We arrived ten minutes before closing but the staff was so friendly and helpful we had no idea until we left.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
