I've been doing business with this company for 3 summers since we have moved to our new home. We have a salt water gunite pool. It took me 2 years to beg and make several phone calls just to buy and have them install a new spa light. Then finally I called and asked them if they do not want to do it could they please just tell me the make and model and I will figure out how to do it myself or have my husband do it. They finally did after the two years begrudgingly took care of it. They of course did not even offer a discount or an apology. I have them do our monthly cleaning maintenance in addition to our opening and closing. Of course neither of these things are cheap due to the labor and also the materials. This year I knew our regular crew that do our monthly cleaning maintenance and also our opening and closing did NOT do the opening because they never would have done it this manner. Of course neither of these things are cheap due to the labor and also the materials. This year A completely different crew opened our pool and did a partial and sloppy job. They had rusted stakes sitting in my landscape instead of making sure that those were put away in the bags as they are every year, while we have 2 dogs one being a little puppy. In addition to that, our landscapers were trying to work around them. We also had two cast cement lions that have always sat in the exact same spot around the waterfalls and even those were left sitting in the rocks nearby on my landscaping, claiming they did not know where they went. Keep in mind this pool was installed by the previous owner back in 2007. They never put one grain of salt or other chemicals that are necessary during the opening which left it green and full of debris on the bottom of the pool. My husband paid them the check in Full that day because I was not here at the time. Had I been there they certainly would not of gotten the full amount. If you do not do the job right, why should you get paid over $400 to do a halfway job? I do not know if they are having problems being short staffed, new staff, or just at the does not care point because they're at the stage of retirement and are not interested in fulfilling their duties the way they should have. The other years that they have opened our pool, in less than three days we could swim in it. Again, it was our regular crew that did it. My husband wasn't going around and doing an hour and a half of work or me having to call them several times to get them to come and complete the opening that we had already paid in full for. Again, if it was the same crew that does an exemplary job and have wonderful service and personalities as well none of this would have taken place. I wouldn't have made over an hour worth of several phone calls combined. Furthermore, other years The water was clear and beautiful and instead this year we looked at it being green and my husband has to clean the bottom of the pool by filling up a garbage can full of leaves and other debris including dead animals. When I did finally speak to the manager name Mike, he was rude, condescending, arrogant, combative and instead of being apologetic made excuses and tried to blame us. I actually spoke to the owner approximately a week prior to that and he seemed very disinterested in what was happening in his company as well. So it certainly does not surprise me that he employs a maintenance manager that treats customers the way that he does. I am not the only one in my neighborhood and other customers from other areas that have had similar complaints regarding their service. There is many other wonderful pool companies out there and if you are considering putting in any kind of pool, please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! It will save yourself a lot of heart ache. I know somebody who just got a brand-new pool installed by them last year and they still have not fixed the cracks and other major problems that have occurred and don't seem interested in fixing those problems either. When you spend over $100,000 for any product, you would expect that the company would try to do the right thing and fix whatever it is that they need to do to retain their business, to hope for referral business, and to most importantly make their high paying customers happy. There's plenty of great places out there that can do just as good of a job if not much better for a comparable or better price with much better service!

Glamour installed our pool five summers ago, and we could not be any happier. Having grown up with a gunite pool, I knew exactly how quality of design, durable construction and sustainability could bring lasting summer memories to my family. Even when rain paused progress, Glamour's crew hustled to keep the project on track - always keeping the yard clear of tools and equipment. Glamour did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, and did it well.
It's obvious the quality of Glamour Pool's craftsmanship, equipment and service has not disappointed!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amie S.SoMa, San Francisco, CA01May 27, 2021
, We have had Glamour pools For 15 years without any problems....but this year they did not show up or we called every day with n
we were told we were put on the schedule for the following Friday
They never showed up no call or we made several more phone calls for the following two weeks and were told they were very busy and they didn't know anything about us
we told them we've been customers for 15 years we've never had this problem we tip the guys cash we buy them lunch we couldn't understand why they were being so difficult
I asked to talk to a manager or the owner and I was told that was not possible by a receptionist who said she just takes the messages
Will never work with them again or recommend them to anybody or apparently new owner does not careHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
