Gift Express

I walked in the store and was the only customer there. I was referrred there by a friend, but I wasn't even greeting or asked if I needed help even after browsing for a good 10 minutes ! I think that it is key to make a customer feel welcomed in your location especially since this was my first time there (and my last!) I will pass.

Love this little hidden gem in Castro Village! It's part thrift store, part consignment store and all fun. I've purchased essential oils, vintage bags and MLB apparel. Who can resist an A's starter jacket?! Pas moi. I feel that if I needed a bucket hat, I could find it here too. Milli Vanilli CD, yeah I copped that. Shut up.

There is also plenty of handmade jewelry from local artists. I have a lovely pair of art deco inspired earrings that I simply adore. Every time I take a trip back home, I stop by here. The ladies are friendly. I can't wait to see you soon! Toodles! xo

I have spent many Saturday afternoons browsing the aisles at Gift Express. I happened upon it by accident one day while walking from Ross to TJ Maxx (don't judge me they have bomb candles) I was surprised to find an array of vendors in the shop, the variety alone ranges from cutesy country crafts to awesome vintage clothes and sci-do/ fantasy books. There's even a station with an overload of everything car related. It's adorable

I was treated poorly by Nelda Mann at this shop. I was on my way to Castro Valley from Pleasanton to purchase a curio cabinet. She had given me the address to go pick it up and when I was on my way she sold it to someone else! Poor business practice! I will make sure I tell my friends about this and try and get them to boycott this store! Horrible person!

This was my first visit but it won't be my last. The sales person Laura was very welcoming and extremely helpful. I was looking for a gift for someone but found that gift and more. The prices are so much better than other gift stores in the complex too!! It's a keeper!!

OMG what a find !!! A cool store with tons of vendors.. My favorite is vintage/hard to find items .. Brings me back to my child hood Thanks to the treasure hunters..

This place has a nice variety of hand made gift items. If you want to find something unique at great price, Gift Express is the right place!

You can find great items here for nearly every taste and occasion! You'll go for a special gift item--& find plenty of reasons to leave with something for yourself. From jewelry, home decor, vintage housewares, to cards and even clothing and lots of women's accessories. I've shopped here since it was Village Crafters, and its attracted lots of stylish and talented artists and vendors. Located across from the new TJMaxx, just down the walk from Mountain Mikes pizza. Go see for yourself!

Stumbled in here out of curiousity, wow what a find! Great place to pick up hard to find one of a kind items. As previous 'Yelpers' have mentioned it is a mixture of antiques, home decor, jewelry, handcrafted items and more.
