My husband and our closest friends (4 in total) decided to grab drinks tonight at the Gaslight following our dinner at the Landing. We are Tri-City natives, born and raised.- And this was not our first visit to the Gaslight by any means. We are company who is always glad to spend money when the experience and service allows. Unfortunately, this was not the case for our visit tonight.

Firstly, we paid a $5.00 cover per person, to enter at about 9:50pm. We ordered a round of drinks and we were told that we could not have our beers in a bottle because they did not serve glass. However, everyone around us had beers in a bottle. Naturally, we kindly asked our server why others were allowed bottles yet we were not. She explained that it was because they had ordered their beers a mere TWO hours ago at 8pm. Note: 8pm is allegedly the cut off for ordering glass. Regardless, we graciously accepted the servers explanation.

To make a long story short, we ordered a few more rounds--

An Absolute and soda for myself; was pure soda. When asked, the server reasoned that the "well" tap gun was automatic and she was glad to add another shot for free. Interestingly enough, we were not familiar with Absolute being considered 'well'. However, she did return the drink with some added alcohol and that was appreciated. Unfortunately, things only seemed to get worse from there.

Shortly thereafter, the security guard abruptly approached my husband and asked him to 'turn his [Patagonia] hat around'. His inflection was less that polite. Posturing and sharp, the security guard seemed oddly pleased to bully my husband into turning his hat around. Mind you, we had sat along the far wall for the duration of our evening, not leaving the small 5'x5' area that was our table. When we inquired to multiple staff as to the 'hat forward' instructions, we were told that this was the establishment policy. Unfortunately, their current postings do not reflect this policy and a simple and kind, customer-service oriented request, would have been received otherwise.

In the end, the manager did try to salvage the situation, but we were on our way out at that point. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the gaslight. However, we WILL be returning to the Landing.

This is now Richland's "The Dugout." It Is OPEN.

It is still completely ghosted from Maps and Yelp, which is strange, but it will updated soon I'm sure.

Kennewick's Dugout is almost finished with their construction, and of course Pasco's has long been open. When Kennewick's Dugout opens, there will be officially one each city.

      Cheers!

This is a straight up bar and grill. nothing fancy, what you would expect. We came here on a Thursday night and it was a good thing that we did. They had an excellent prime rib special (2 for 30) that was surprisingly good. It came with a baked potato, a substantial cut of prime rib, and veggies.

Service was solid, we were well taken care of. It can be a bit noisy, and we had a trivia/bingo game going on, so that added to it.

Beer prices were reasonable and they had nice happy hour specials.

Great service and Gaslight was within walking distance of our hotel. A little dark and gloomy, but welcome after the bright sun and heat of the late morning.

Drinks were good and well priced. Shots were ICE cold, always a plus in my book. Pretty, friendly bartenders.

We weren't eating, but the food looked good - wish I'd gotten a chance to try the jalapeno sliders.

My one concern (hence four stars instead of five) is that they had one of those automatic commercial air fresheners located on one of the posts next to the bar, so the area my husband and I sat in was constantly saturated with a deoderizer-type scent. My husband thought it smelled good; me, not so much. It was a little strong and off-putting, and had me wondering exactly what smells they were trying to cover up.

We'll probably visit again and sit in a different area of the bar.

      Updated review

They charged me for five drinks instead of three. I questioned it and was treated like a liar trying to scam them. I was upset and asked them if they thought I was a liar. They called me an asshole and told me I would be charged the full amount for that reason. I told them I would dispute the charges and they told me to leave. While I was waiting for my friend to get out of the bathroom I was physically assaulted by a bouncer. He pushed me out the door and to the ground where his bouncers stood over me til I left.

My friends have also been overcharged. You definitely don't want to open a tab here. Preferably you should stay away.

Thanks for the comment Stephanie. You have backed up my claim that something happened Saturday night. Now please post the video of me being physically assaulted for questioning my bill. Completely sober and doing nothing wrong.

We have a great time here whenever we come, either with a group or as a couple.
Happy hour specials vary by day, and we usually find something to enjoy.
TeTe takes great care to us, and I suggest you ask for her.

They blatantly water down down their liquor. They were at the highest point of their douchery. I had a disgusting sour margarita that I could only get a 3rd thru. There was no alcohol in it. We had 3 shots of Patron. They were icy...ICY.
After 10 mins of trying to flag someone down, on a WEDNESDAY night, we went to them.
We expressed our concern about our drinks and the disrespectful service.
They gave one of us another shot from the
"same" bottle. He took the shot and immeaditly said that was not what we were served. I finished the back wash and it buned as beautifully as it should. It was another 5 mins until Douchero Uno said it was a gold we compared not the silver.
They said They would comp us our mixed drinks but had to pay for the shots.
We told our hotel, that recommended them, about our experience.
      HORRIBLE

Came for a later meal on a Tuesday evening. Ordered lemon drops that were a mystery drink but drinkable. Food came out and watched the bartender/server go outside on break. We had waited for long enough that we had to walk to the bar and ask for drinks and sauces. Although that came quickly by some random person we never saw our server again.

      Decent beer list. Ok food.

Slow night. Terrible service. Wont be back.
