Beverly - We're sorry you felt that way about our service. We strive to provide exception value and service in all of our stores. Speaking of which - if you are craving a made-from-scratch pizza, pasta or wings, we're open just down the road in Colby!
Oct 4, 2020Previous reviewIt rates about a "D" with me.When I used to rarely order by phone no one even told me the price of the order before hanging up.Everything about this place is below average but hey if you like grease, very flimsy toppings, that cardboard flavor, snotty high schoolers who don't know the price of anything and overpriced bunches of nothing about nothing...then....enjoy.

If I could give zero stars... Even a negative star... I would do so for this establishment. Cardboard and tasteless doesn't even begin to describe what they consider pizza. I asked for two toppings on half the pizza and they charged me for three full toppings, she even though it was only HALF of 3!
The pizza was so bad that it would've probably been better for us to go to Walmart, buy a frozen pizza, I eat it frozen! This place is truly disgusting!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Liza B.TX, TX112268159Jun 2, 2016
My family has always enjoyed eating here. They have a good lunch buffet with yummy dessert pizzas- I highly recommend the boston cream pie dessert pizza if they have it. Yum!
When ordering pasta, it takes a while, but I am happy to wait for freshly prepared food. The décor in this place is awesome, a true relic of Goodland, Kansas.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tina Darin R.Scott City, MO344May 17, 2018
Traveling I-70 from Missouri to Colorado. This place was recommended by guest services at the hotel we were staying in. A short drive from our hotel we pulled up an hour before closing the place was empty the staff were nice and the food was great!

We were passing through Kansas along I-70 & decided to stop at Goodland for dinner. Wanted pizza so looked up reviews, and Gambinos ranked better than Pizza Hut. We're not sure why they are ranked better than Pizza Hut, because their service and quality of food was not good. They had a buffet on Friday night, and they couldn't keep their buffet filled up with pizza. They could not manage to keep their iced tea filled up or their lettuce bowl full. They set out the buffet condiments way after the buffet had started. Their pizza was dry and over-cooked. They rarely put out dessert pizzas & these were also over-cooked. Would not suggest stopping at Gambinos in Goodland, KS.

Everyday pizza buffet from 11:00-1:00. The pizza crust is thin and light. They tend to stock the buffet with a couple dessert pizzas, and various types of their specialty and single topping pizzas, Fettuccine Alfredo, and a calzone. If you're interested in a certain type of pizza, make a request and they'll put it up there.
If you like salad, the salad bar has plenty of options. Pasta salads can be found also. The tea is brewed. All around, this is a perfect buffet place that won't leave you feeling gross and bloated.
This business cares about its community. You can find Gambino's advertising in just about any fundraiser in Goodland. Buy a Cowboy Card from a local football player, and get a great deal on two buffets every time you come in for lunch.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rod P.Pensacola, FL04Feb 16, 2015
There is not much to choose from in this small frontier town. We took a chance eating here and was extremely disappointed. Food quality left a lot to be desired and service was non existent. Salad bar items looked as if
were days old.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley D.Huntington Beach, CA1478848Sep 11, 2017
Great pizza and breadsticks. Stopped here off the 70 coming from Indiana going to CA. Highly recommend!

Good stopping place with kids! Pizza was decent and salid bar was good. Not processes foods. Kids park across the street so little travels can get the wiggles out!

Discovered this little local eatery while traveling I-70. The pizza we ordered was freshly made and very reasonably priced. There was a good variety of their 'Signature' pizzas and all of them had numerous and generous topping selections. Very friendly staff, easy access, lots of parking and the cleanest restaurant we've EVER seen while on a road trip. Our only suggestion to the owner would be to add some more herbs and seasonings to the base tomato sauce used on the pizza. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
