Fuki Sushi

I recently got the Kanto Sushi for dinner, and enjoyed the sashimi selection I received, the rice was also unique with mushrooms and some herbs that went well with the dish. I did think that there wasn't as much food as I would have liked, but this place definitely has great quality items! This was my first time trying this place out and I'd be back in the future for sure.

Rude hostess, staff is forgetful and will have you constantly flagging down bussers to bring you tea, forgotten rice, etc. Exterior is tired and bland. Interior is tired and bland. Portions are small. Prices are very high and they pad the tip percentages at the end so youre paying more than you should. It seems like they will hire anyone to work here as long as they are an Asian female (all the servers are), friendliness and good service are not required.

If this place were not located in Palo Alto I have no idea if it would get any business.

Ordered food from here for delivery to celebrate our anniversary indoors during covid.

Food is definitely on the pricier side but the arrangement was beautiful, fresh, and innovative! A fresh and semi fusion take on sushi! Food is delicious and a great treat for a fancy Japanese meal indoors :)

Tried take out during COVID-19 times. They had implemented great safety measures. Fuki Sushi has a great variety of vegetarian / vegan options which are well described in the menu. Makes the job of ordering very easy. Tried a couple of sushi rolls and an appetizer and loved all of the dishes. Will visit again to try other dishes

This is probably the most authentic Japanese restaurant in the area. Food quality is tops, taste is spot on, packaging is compostable, variety is unreal.  Great for events, take out, catering.

We ordered some food for delivery: chicken katsu ($20.80), chicken karaage ($11), assorted tempura ($13) and chicken teriyaki ($19.50). The chicken katsu was good. The meat tasted lean, juicy and flavorful. It came with the typical brownish sauce and white rice which were tasty as well. The chicken karaage consisted of 5 fairly large pieces. They were tasty and definitely worth the price. The assorted tempura came with 2 shrimp, 1 green bean, 1 broccolo and either a squash or a potato. It was good but somewhat pricey. The chicken teriyaki was good. The sauce was not too sweet and not watery nor too thick. All in all the food was good, not cheap but the quantity was there and the quality was superior to other food served by competitors.

Ordered delivery, and the avocado used for the sushi was literally black and rotten.  From what little I was able to have, I felt sick after, and this isn't the first time this has happened, either.  I understand the pandemic is difficult for restaurants but there is honestly no excuse for for sending someone clearly spoiled food; especially at these premium prices.  If you have no ingredients fit for human consumption then don't take the order.  Feel very disgusted and cheated--won't be going ever again.

We have been ordering from Fuki Sushi via DoorDash throughout the pandemic as we have an immunocompromised member in the family and therefore do not leave the house unless it is totally necessary. They have been kind, diligent, and communicative - we had a Dasher who refused to wear a mask or sanitize when he arrived at the restaurant, so they refused to release our food. The lovely manager called me to apologize for my food's delay because of this Dasher, and I was blown away. I deeply appreciate the care and concern the staff has for patrons ordering and would highly recommend. There has been no decrease in quality and we look forward to ordering from them.

I was disappointed with the items delivered for take out only.  Nothing like the quality and freshness of many years of eating here dining in.
The maki mono in particular of the Tekka Maki and negihama maki was stale and rice was stiff.  Had better at Safeway and Sprouts.
Other items were clearly prepared in advance and the cut surfaces were dry.  
No to the standards I had come to expect.
A waste of nearly $100 and a disappointing meal.

First timer, and my entire family was really pleased with how spacious yet cozy this place was!

CHICKEN KARAAGE: Super soft and succulent chicken that was served on a bed of cabbage with a wedge of lemon. Nothing unordinary, but the chicken was a lot softer than other places I've had which was nice. Not so much crispy though.

I'm not gonna rate the rolls because my palette is not supreme and the rolls end up tasting the same to me at some point but here's what my family got that was MORE than enough for the four of us: ATLANTIC ROLL, SPICY OYSTER URAMAKI, UNAGI ALMOND URAMAKI, KINPIRA URAMAKI (ok i will say this was surprisingly delicious i've never had a vegetarian roll before), + TUNA/HAMACHI DONBURI.

HOT CHASOBA: My dad got this with the tempura. It was a pretty hefty portion that was enough for one person's dinner.

TLDR: This is definitely a nice place to treat yourself to, is cozy for a date or family gathering!! Perfect for all occasions !!
