Stopped here to go to the Flower dept.
The Flower dept is set up beautifully and has really good deals on beautifularrangements. I bought my Friend flowers and balloons to help her get through real life situations, in hopes that it will make her smile.
Cashier( Chec 12) was very sweet as she helped me to pick out my flowers.

I had a pick up order scheduled for 2 PM and as I was pulling in, a lady from Fry's called to tell me my order wasn't gonna be ready for at least seven more hours, this actually happened two weeks prior and so I decided to ask to speak to the manager because I only had about 15 items and this was just unacceptable twice in a row especially being in the parking lot. Julie the manager got on the phone and was super nice and she stopped what she was doing to get the groceries herself as they were understaffed and came out to my car and she was super nice and apologetic. I appreciate the above and beyond customer service in a what began as a frustrating situation.

A great large Fry's. Here to look for bottles of sparkling water. Today I had good luck finding a good supply of water. It was located in a shelf I could reach so even happier. At my local Fry's the sparkling water is located in the very top shelf. I always have to find a staff member to get some for me.
Their floral section is really well stocked and smells are wonderful.
I admired those before leaving for an appointment.
Shared parking lot and WiFi.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0Aug 23, 2022Previous reviewA large Fry's with extras in the store that many Fry's don't offer. Murray's cheese, large deli and bakery. I took advantage of the red and black grapes on sale with a digital coupon.
If you forget to clip the specials at home, you can scan the barcode at the store. It's easy, just scan the code with your mobile photo. The site will open for you to clip that coupon. Just select the word "clip" and the site will confirm what you did.
Unfortunately when I went to self check out, the clipped coupon did not show. The attendant was helpful and corrected the error.
I also got some ahi tuna for supper.
Seared tuna anyone?
Large shared outdoor parking lot. Free Wi-Fi.Dec 1, 2021Previous reviewThis is a busy store in the early afternoon. Granted it was Senior day. I managed to navigate my way through the shopping carts, wheel chairs, and families. This is such a large Fry's store. It has a cheese bar, sushi area, wine area, chicken and pizza vendor as well as the regular grocery items you'd expect to see.
I am not that familiar with the location of items. Staff were helpful in helping me locate the items I needed. Many of the items I wanted were down to the bare bones. I took the remainder of the items.
I went to the self checkout as the lines seemed quite long. The queue went quickly and I was leaving the store.
Large parking lot with several other stores there.Jun 17, 2021Previous reviewThis is a nice Fry's Signature store off the 101 and Shea exit. It is quite large with a separate pizza area, wine area, a large cheese area and sushi bar. I got some cold Arnold Palmer half and half tea and a banana to eat. Wish this store was closer to us. I will enjoy it when I am in that area. Large parking lot in this strip mall.

I went to Fry's on 90th today about 7:30 this morning, and encountered multiple areas where the shelves were not recently stocked, and items were not available! This has been a growing issue at this Fry's location for some time. Pasta, Tide detergent, and cottage cheese, were just a few of the items in short supply or not available, and there were ares where significant, product labeled areas on shelves were empty! Sadly, we live in a society where millions of healthy Americans are CHOOSING to remain outside the labor force. Apparently they would rather survive on the government dole than prosper on the merits of their own endeavors! It seems Fry's is always looking for workers, and I'm assuming that is part of their stocking problems! Also, their "service" desk is seldom open, and only one check out line was available! Bottom line, it's NOT the Fry's it was pre-covid! Worthy of note, the gentleman who usually works the self-check out area is exceptionally industrious, helpful, patient, and empathetic!

I shop here because it's close and good prices. The click and collect feature is great but hate that the team members automatically stand in the back of my car wanting to put the groceries in my trunk.
Also, didn't appreciate being screamed at from a cashier for putting my reusable bags on the conveyer built.
As a corporation, Kroger beats up its vendors regarding sustainability yet the front end team throws that out the window. Very contradictory.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jeffery T.Scottsdale, AZ2434737Aug 6, 2023
Two employees of @FrysFoodStores in Scottsdale AZ owned by @kroger created the worst customer experience I've ever endured. While one acted highly irritated the other became confrontational over a simple customer service issue. I chose to leave the store and shop elsewhere.
Since there was more than one employee involved I can only assume that their bad behavior is a fair representation of Kroger/Fry's current attitude versus customers. Yes, versus customers is an appropriate phrase here. I was once a proud Kroger employee when I was in high school. Now, with their harsh position against customers I think of it differently. #frys #Kroger #CustomerExperienceHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James B.Scottsdale, AZ10621Dec 23, 2023
"Always Fresh"--not so much! 3 Days before Christmas, red potatoes only available in multiple pound bags, no individual potatoes available, White potatoes (Yukons), none available. Artichokes, only 2 available and each was at least 1 week old on display, soft and squishy-$2.99 for stale artichokes-nah, not me. Fortunately Safeway only a short drive on the way home, was able to score each item there, FRESH ! And what is worse than this, I comment on their website, on the myfrys.com website, stating the same, and what do I get back?-bupkus, as in nothing! Hopefully the merger with Safeway is blocked by the government, and ya, I do not like government interfering with free enterprise, but in this case, it would be a good move. The Fry's online coupon system and accuracy at check out is terrible, rarely accurate..
Safeway is very good. Hey, happy holidays to you all, and think twice before supporting Fry's, as they just do not care. Walk the walk Frys, rather than talk the talk! JBHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 27, 2022Updated review
People used to say that "the customer is always right". I think this concept has died.
I arrived at the Fry's Deli department and was pleasantly surprised that there was no line. Usually there is one since the staff is slower than molasses. My record is waiting 25 minutes for one pound of american cheese.
Today, arriving to find no one waiting at the deli, I was elated. I said "Hello" which I say to get the attention of deli staff. After my Hello, the woman behind the counter (with a good hairnet), picked up a broom and started sweeping. She went to the back sweeping.... sweeping in the front.... sweeping in the back again. I tried to make eye contact but she still continued to sweep. After she had me waiting enough time to satisfy her, she asked if she could help me. I gave her my order, received it and then walked away.
I didn't tell her that it was rude to keep a customer waiting when there are no other customers or that customers come first before sweeping; once the customer leaves, you can do the sweeping.
This deli has always been problematic as the training doesn't seem to focus on making customers feel valued or on making as many sales as possible. I am 100 per cent sure that if this woman behind that counter would have owned the deli, she would have dropped the broom dance and asked" Hello, How many I help you today?"
Not happening any time.
Corporate, wake up.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Apr 13, 2020Previous reviewI want to thank this Fry's and the one on via linda and 90th street for their hard work during the corona virus pandemic.
They stock shelves as much as they can, they keep carts sanitized and smile every day.
I applaud their efforts and hope that people or not too impatient with the staff in these difficult times.
Remember that they are doing their best.Feb 14, 2018Previous reviewI am sad to have to write this about my favorite supermarket. I buy almost everything here, even their gas which is located by their Fry's Marketplace located on 90th and Via Linda. The manager at the 90th Street store is super effective and has quickly resolved the few issues I have brought.
The object of my complaint is senior day discounts. Senior day is the first Wednesday of the each month. Seniors get 10% off each item they buy (with the exclusion of certain items).
As I do a lot of shopping on Senior days, I noticed that many of the prices were higher on senior day. Although, I was to get 10% off, it would be 10% off the higher prices. This last time, I went to shop for a number of items that I needed the TUESDAY before Senior Day.
On Tuesday, I bought Kroger brand cream cheese (8 ounces) for $1.00 and DiGiorno Frozen Pizza for $4.99 among other items. The next day (on Wednesday, Senior Day) I checked on the cream cheese which was now priced at $1.49. Minus the 10% discount of 15 Cents, the actual cost was now $1.34 or 34 cents more than the day before. The DiGiorno Pizza was priced at $5.99 or $1.00 more than on Tuesday. With the senior discount the cost was $5.39 or 60 cents more than on Tuesday.
These additional amounts charged add up to quite a bit when you have a large number of items to be purchased.
I don't understand why Fry's would make these price changes before Senior Day considering that it is unlikely that the prices changed overnight on the existing inventory.May 10, 2017Previous reviewUPDATE: 3/30/2017: THIS IS A COMPLAINT. A lot of people including myself are upset by the fact that you no longer do United Post Office Services.
You used to take our packages, do certified mail, etc etc. So convenient. I don't know why they stopped but if it was a $ issue, I think some of us including myself, would have paid a surcharge to bring our packages there. I am positive that the volume would pay for the salary of the clerk who handles the packages at the customer service desk. Lorraine, who is always wonderful and cheerful should be given credit for the amazing employee that she is. I've been wanting to sign her praises for a long time.
Could you do a customer survey to see if people are willing to pay a surcharge? How about 50 cents per package and 35 cents per certified letter? Come on, do it!

This supermarket has everything---florist, rent-a car, bank, post office branch, pharmacy, books/library corner, and a great lounge area for patrons. I see people playing Ma-Jong and other games there.
I am particularly impressed by the fact that they have lowered their produce pricing to be more competitive with other merchants (e.g. Sprouts). Now I am buying more of my produce at Fry's. If they bring every produce item down to a competitive price, I will buy everything at Fry's and not have to make different stops to get the best buys. Unexpectedly had to stay at Scottsdale/Shea medical center for the week. Needed some things and didn't want to pay hospital prices... Fry's is always clean and are always fully stocked. Check out was quick and easy with great service. Thanks for the assist.

Visited this store yesterday 10/11/2023 around 4 pm. Came here to buy some fish. Imagine my surprise that the entire fish department was closed. All the fish had been removed from the cases and the cases were empty. Not sure what was going on, but it was an inconvenience.
Also, apparently Fry's doesn't carry Folgers 1850 Black Gold K-cups. Will have to look elsewhere for them.
Finally, they don't carry Skinny Girl Sesame Ginger dressing. They carry several other Skinny Girl dressings. Just not the Sesame Ginger.
Overall, you could say this was one disappointing grocery shopping trip ...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 17, 2023Previous reviewThis review has more to do with a specific product than the store itself as, overall, I have been fairly pleased with this store. The product in question is their Open Nature Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. Tried it for the first time recently and the taste was so artificial that I ended up not using it and having to dispose of the entire bottle. In all fairness, perhaps other customers think it tastes just fine. Either way, in my opinion, Fry's may want to take another look at this particular dressing as perhaps it could be improved. Thank you.
