Frankford Cookies

I'm so excited this place is finally open! Their cookies are two dollars a pop, but they're pretty hefty for the price. I was expecting the cookies to be more of an "ooie, gooie" soft kind of cookie, but these were a bit on the firm size, but thick and not hard. I would almost say that you NEED to eat one of these bad boys with milk as a standard, because they're so hefty.

Overall the shop is small, but you don't need much to shovel out quality cookies. They do have two small tables, which is nice if you need to get out of the cold for a bit.

They also have sundaes and coffee, which I'd be interested to try the next time I stop by.

Cute concept, reminds me of Insomnia Cookies. They have options for single cookies, multiple cookies, cookie al a mode, and cookie sandwiches. They have Bassets ice cream, which was a plus for people who chose the ice cream options. We went in at 9:00PM, and there weren't a ton of cookies left. The cookie consistency was crunchy on the outside and doughy in the middle which was appreciated, although I prefer Insomnia's freshness. Good option if you're in the Fishtown area.

So yummy!! I got the sundae, which was two huge scoops of Bassett's ice cream with a cookie, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a cherry on top. The ice cream was great, so creamy and rich. And the cookie was amazing, it was large, soft, warm, and gooey which is exactly how I like my cookies. And this giant sundae was at a very reasonable price. Definitely will be back!

Its a cute cookie shop with a variety of cookies. I got the sugar, white macadamia, and choco chip with walnuts. They were all good. Although, I can't say that they are better than insomnia cookies. However, it's nice that they have late hours and deliver.

Tonight was the second time that the store wasn't open despite it being within the hours posted on their website.


Delicious! We got a bunch of different flavors and all of them were good (and still taste fresh out of a ziplock bag 5 days later!) but their oatmeal raisin was incredible. Can't wait to keep supporting this new local busiene

Sorry, but meh. They had just opened, and sold us cold stale cookies from the day before.

They were undercooked and gummy in the middle. Also too sweet for my taste, but that's just me.

Very nice staff behind the counter, but I wouldn't go back.

I don't think I can put into words how awesome this place is! I have visited several times and also use grab hub often to have my cookies delivered. The employees at Frankford Cookies work very quick to ensure that I get my order as soon as possible. I 100% recommend grub hub for the kind of nights where you don't want to leave your house for a delicious snack! When visiting Frankford Cookies, I was extremely satisfied by the cleanliness, friendliness of the workers, and awesome environment! I will be visiting this establishment all the time! 10 out of 10!

I don't know what Acme cookie guy is smoking, because Frankford cookies was delicious. I only tried the white chocolate macadamia, and it was really really good. Everyone was really nice too!

As a cookie lover, I was beyond excited to have a local cookie shop. We grabbed a dozen assorted. Overall The cookies were a good size & pleasantly soft w/crisp edges. Unfortunately, their recipe has way to much baking powder/soda. There is an unpleasant after taste from the leavening agent. The white chocolate macadamia & snickerdoodle were just ok - edible w/after taste. The sugar was inedible --- way to much baking sofa/power, we tossed them. I'm open to trying them again, once the recipe is adjusted.

Having tried nearly every purported great cookie spot in Philly, we had such high expectations for Frankford Cookies. Sadly, our first experience was not high quality. We bought a box of six cookies consisting of peanut butter chocolate chip, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. With the exception of one cookie, the remainder tasted quite stale. We'd like to give Frankford Cookies another shot but this first experience left quite a bit to be desired.
