Q:
How long have they been in business?
A:
Not positive but I'd say a good 3-4 years at least.

I hope this isn't a really dumb question...but can you order at the window if you're on foot, or does it strictly have to be on car?
A:
I just ordered at the window because both lanes were being occupied.

First time coming here. I've got to say the foods were fresh. It is not one of your typical McDonald fast food drive thru where it is fast. It's a drive thru ordering your sushi while you wait in the car that typically takes from 10-20 mins depending on what you ordered. I've waited about 15 mins. I've seen two cars behind me and I'm sure they've been there before and they waited as well. So be prepare if there's few cars in front of you. It can take some time but the wait was worth it.
The caterpillar roll was super delicious. I've tried many places here in Fresno and this is the best one I've had. The baked mussel was very flavorful and I liked that they cut it into pieces and I can just eat it without having to pull out of the shell. The baked California was really good as well. I definitely will come back and try the rest of them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 26, 2024
We happened to be driving by and saw this drive thru sushi spot. My first reaction was to laugh and joke about. But then we past it a couple days later and I started thinking about how it must work. Looked at some pictures and noticed the sushi bar inside. Basically a person taking the other at the window, and the sushi chef making the sushi.
The more I thought about it, it's the exact same as sitting at the sushi bar in a Japanese restaurant. The chef makes the sushi right in front of you. Same here. You can see everything happen right there while you chill in the car and listen to music. Not a bad idea after all.
The Lead Dragon Roll was very good. Basically a shrimp tempura roll with teriyaki sauce on it. Much better than any quick pickup sushi from a grocery store. Solid quality, not the best but better than a couple restaurants.
The spicy tuna roll was ok. Not terrible but decent. Maybe if the sauce was drizzled on top instead of just poured on each piece. It over powered the tuna instead of complementing it.
Lastly was the Eel roll. That was another solid choice. On par with most restaurants. Next time I'll get the Caterpillar roll for even more delicious eel. We'll be back for sure.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lucy A.San Francisco, CA0197Feb 27, 2024
A bold statement, but this is the BEST sushi I've had. The staff was kind and the food is so fresh & delicious. Don't pass up on this place!

Gotta admit that when I think "great food", drive thru sushi doesn't come to mind, but this place is excellent! They make it on the spot where you can see them making it (he even turns, smiles and waves to you), so it does take awhile, but it's worth it.
The Lion roll was flavorful and spicy. The cream cheese in it balances the spice a bit. The Destiny roll also has a ton of flavor. Even the teriyaki chicken bowl had great flavor and some heat to it.
Definitely going to go back and try more.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - K Q.Clovis, CA14221Jul 22, 2023
I've driven by for a couple of years and finally stopped by. I was a bit nervous but also very curious. It did not disappoint. Beautiful looking and great tasting rules. You can tell they out a lot of care into the preparation. Based on the reviews and what I paid, it does seem as though they have increased their prices recently, but what place hasn't. Not the cheapest place for sushi but we'll worth the money. I only tried a couple of specialties rolls which were about $14 each. The regular rolls are much cheaper but the flavor of the specialty rolls make it worth it. Without naming specific places, this was perhaps the same quality of the "good" sit down places in town and far better then the "cheap" fast places in town. It was relatively fast for a one/two person operation but felt longer simply because you're in your car waiting.
Oh, and the folks working there....soooo kind and sweet. They add to the experience and seem to enjoy what they do. Even with a mask on you can tell they are smiling. A pure delight.

Sushi was delicious. Lady was very nice. I wished the amount of seaweed salad is worth the price. I will definitely be returning to try the other sushi's. Price was worth it beside the seaweed salad.

Drive-thru sushi! The worker greeted and was very kind. Happy to give recommendations! #18 Star Shine roll, spicy baked mussels and shrimp spring rolls ordered. They do not have peanut sauce. The worker said it would be ready in 10 minutes. They had a line going too.
Shortly later, the worker brought out the order along with appreciation. =)
Lunchtime! Got everything set up per usual. Order split.
Star Shine Roll half was AMAZINGLY delicious! Dipped them in wasabi and soy sauce. Scrumptious and flavorful!
Baked mussels were spicy and really tasty!
Spring roll was Fantastic! Wow! Fresh and delicious! The sauce they included was really great too! I was impressed! Fresh ginger as well!
Mother felt the same.
Great service and very delicious lunch!
Highly recommended!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 1 - Angel B.Palmdale, CA10892Nov 19, 2023
You know for a express sushi. Anything with express and sushi you have this fear but when I went not only was the owner an absolute angel but it was quick and done right there in front of you! I've had sushi from near and far I'm a 26 year old sushi fanatic and it was actually REALLY fresh. I was kinda surprised myself I've never been to such a place. My problem is, I don't live in the area or else I'd be walking/driving there. It's small and on the corner of a busy street so keep that in mind but leaving the drive thru is easy to get back onto the street. They are just friendly people making a living. Support small business's that are ACTUALLY good like this place!:) Enjoy.

Let me start with saying I'm going to blame the times for this review I'm about to give back in 2018 I stopped here for the first time the food was outstanding, went there again today and sadly I have to give it 1 star, I know things are more expensive these days but what happened to quality why does the quality have to go away sure you're going to charge more but why not deliver the same quality of food, we had spring rolls excuse me lettuce wrap because that's what it was the sushi roll I ordered was no where the same as it used to be, must be hard to stay in business when you can't keep the quality of your food

If there is more than two cars in front of you, prepare for at least a 10 min wait! But it is worth it. The rolls are made to order by the sweetest wife and husband duo, right through the window! Everything is clean, organized, and they are so kind! Not to mention, the sushi is delicious. I got the spicy tuna roll and red dragon roll. Both great, but red dragon was my favorite. Don't pass this cute little place up! They deserve the business.
