Fitness 1440

This gym was great for the 3 months that I was staying at Martin TN. Reasonably affordable and small yet had all the necessary machines to have a full body workout or work out with a body split routine. The leg press and hack squat machine was unbeatable. They have a spin room with a movie playing in the front of the room, they have cross fit type classes offered in one corner of the gym and they have a friendly staff who always greets you and provides smoothies for you. They are indeed 24 hours which was so useful. If I'm ever in the area I'm definitely going back!

Traveling through Martin and the hotel didn't have a fitness center. The woman at the front desk suggested this place and said it has "day passes."

I was thoroughly impressed. Day passes are only $10. The people are friendly and courteous; there was a very large selection of equipment including treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, other machines, free weights, etc. This place also offers classes and sells smoothies.

When I left, an instructor was leading a rope-jumping class for a group. I definitely will be back.

I've been to many gyms in Chicago. I've never heard of Fitness 1440 so my expectations weren't very high. I was only in Martin, Tn for a few days so I figured I'd give it a try. I was blown away by the cleanliness of the gym, this was the first gym I've been to where everyone reracks the weights in the right spots. Every machine was beyond clean and in perfect condition and staff was awesome too. I wish they had a Fitness 1440 in Chicago.

This gym is by far the best one I have ever worked out at. The staff is so friendly and respectful. The gym is very clean and the staff is great about doing good deep cleanings every few hours. They have so many machines to choose from. It's bright and open and makes you feel very welcome! I will for sure be telling my friends about this place. It was great!

It has everything from free classes to free weight for the guys. The movie cinema room and smoothie bar is awesome. The employees we very friendly.

It's only been a few days since I signed up for my membership but I love it. I've already done a group yoga class...and I actually look forward to working out which is kind of strange considering I have never in my life had a gym membership that I've committed to...I also like the equipment is user friendly...and that it doesn't count unless you do it right...so the equipment forces you to work out properly which as a newbie I was terrified of doing it wrong and looking like a dildo. They also offer showers and tanning (tanning is extra) which is pretty nice...I use the showers after my workout...I personally love the feeling of a luke warm shower after sweating...it completely relaxes me. I have yet to use the tanning bed because there is a strict 24 hour time frame between tanning which is the law...so it's not their fault...I haven't decided which tanning time will suit me the best so I'm waiting till my work/school schedule get more balanced out to see what will work best for me. I go at night and feel completely relaxed...I actually just got home and did an hour work out and feel like butter I'm so relaxed...really happy so far and glad I made the decision to start. For 29.99 a month you can't beat it...especially with group classes included In the pricing and the 24/7 access!
