Love the coffee recipes! Especially being able to sip on coffee while the kids play. 4 stars for the consistent coffee quality. -1 because the hours are limited and they only have 1 staff member taking orders and making drinks. When it is slow, the barista might not even be in the room and when it's busy, it can understandably take awhile to get a drink. Love the mocha with oatmilk and the strawberry truffle (I think it was called) in February.

Best coffee place in downtown temple! I go so often they already know my drink haha. I a order the Spice of life with oat milk extra ice. Sooo good! Everybody who works there are very nice and they make the coffee great!

I usually go get my coffee and if I get hungry I'll go next door for some pizza :) one of the best in downtown temple and again...their baristas are wonderful!

Found myself in Temple on a recent work day/weekday (thanks TSA pre-check!) and was in desperate need for a place that could serve as my office on the go. Working remotely across two states presents its own unique challenges but working remotely in a remote working situation makes it even more complicated. Texas already has a dearth of coworking spaces & its even worse in smaller towns so coffee shop it is.
If I was only reviewing the shop based on the coffee, it would get 4 stars easily. Their lattes as delicious but a bit weak on the espresso front.
Why 3 stars? It's not very work-friendly. Coffee shops are synonymous with working from home/remotely & this place doesn't pass the lowish bar I have. I really don't recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to do some deep thinking or virtual meetings. And booking the conference room doesn't help either.
I arrived kind of early (around 10 am) so I tried to find a spot outside not the patio but the wifi isn't very strong. The shop itself is on the louder side for a coffee shop, and doesn't necessarily have a coffee shop feel to it. When I walked in they were playing 80s hair rock pretty loud which made it hard to concentrate. The pizzeria next door doesn't help, since the doors are often open and they announce folks names over a loudspeaker often. It's clear they share a connected sound system.
With 2 critical, back to back virtual work meetings before my Pre-TSA appointment (again, I "work" in a different state), I decided to cut my losses with trying to find a quite spot inside...so I booked the "conference room" which was available. At $75 for 2 hours, its a reasonable price that I could charge to my company.
So, why the 3 stars? What's the complaint? I paid for a room assuming I'd have it to myself but nope, the staff walked in at least 5 times over the course of one of my meetings to adjust the volume on the speakers. The conference room houses the building's sound equipment so if the staff needed to do something, there was no option but for them to walk in. Each time, the volume got increasingly louder in the conference room and outside. The barn-style doors are no match to the happenings all around. They'd close the door but it would slide open if they slammed it shut (again, that doesn't help).
I love supporting local, and I love coffee shops. And if I'm driving through Temple again on a casual day trip, I'll definitely stop here. But if I'm driving through for work, I suggest staying home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 796415Apr 3, 2022
My coffee was everything and I would recommend. Next time I'm in Temple this will be my first stop.

Really quality coffee here, really happy with the drip and the espresso drinks. Great spot to relax for a few, read a book, or stop in quickly

This is a gorgeous coffee shop with even better coffee. They have breakfast items and a pizza shop that opens at 11am. There's even an indoor playground for kids connected to the shop. Great environment for weekend homework catch up. And did I mention the coffee is amazing?

Free wifi, family friendly roaster-y! Plenty of indoor seating and a playground outside for kiddos. I opted for a freshly steeped green tea and had it made iced-refreshing! I enjoyed a chocolate chip scone, which are made fresh daily in house and it was a nice snack. They offer a limited food menu and I was told it was actually going to be changing this week. They have a grab and go section with waters/juice/yogurt parfaits. They offer a seasonal beverage menu. There were local items for sale (soap, candles, etc). Open daily 7am-3pm.

I loved the coffee and their employees were so incredibly nice to me and my friend when we asked about suggestions. The atmosphere appeared very calming and great for studying, I just wish they were open long enough for us to have studied that day.
