Firestone Complete Auto Care

I've come here for about two years now. For the most part customer service is great. The first couple of times I've visited this location my services were done correctly. Lately I've had to remind them and double check of the services and make sure they actually do them. Lately they've been extremely slow. I dropped my car off the day before at 4:15 pm hoping to pick it up the next day in early afternoon. The shop opens and 7 am, it's almost noon and my car STILL isn't ready. If you come here just make sure your services are actually done and be prepared to wait.

Edit* they did gift me a free oil service next time due to my wait time.

I rolled into the shop with a blowout. Finding that it was not repairable, the good people at Firestone put on my spare (doughnut) at no charge. Friends, this is good, decent behavior for someone not ready to pay for a new tire. They were concerned about me, not making money. I am so pleased with them and am under no illusion that they owed me such a kindness. Firestone, you are wonderful!

Paid $140 for an oil change (after $10 coupon) due to my car having a "premium" oem cardboard oil filter, only for the tech to leave oil stains on my beige interior.

I wouldn't give them any stars if I could , I took them my Subaru to fix a flat. Their technician that fixed my tire couldn't even balance it correctly , he checked everything off that everything was in good condition when I knew I had my right headlight out , my wiper blade was broken , and my my license plate light was out. And I needed more wiper fluid. Once I picked up my Subaru , I drove it on the highway my steering wheel was shaking , so that was telling me something wasn't balanced and now there was a noise coming from the left rear wheel. I called them to tell them something happened and wasn't right with my car and they told me to bring it back in the next day . So I did and comes to find out the technician was such in a rush he didn't balance the wheel correctly and the manager said if I hit the right pothole my wheel would've fallen off and I would've need an alignment. They fixed the wheel but the noise was still there. I went back and they kept telling me it was my right wheel bearing but I know what a wheel bearing going out sounds like and it wasn't the noise that was coming from. so I went to another shop Rusty's over in Springfield which is such a better car repair shop. I highly recommend Rusty's auto repair shop. I called this shop much later to ask if the can do any engine diagnostic work and they barely have anyone qualified to do brake lines. That they don't have anyone with engine qualifications only alignments and simple repairs. Which is ridiculous to me , since it's a car auto repair shop.. why is this shop even open. I would stay far away from this shop. I wish I would've. Then the noise and any problems that happened from the first time I went wouldn't of happened to my Subaru. If wanted I can post the receipt that has everything listed that they typed out and handed to me at the end of those two services.

I had made an appointment 2 weeks in advance to get my front breaks fixed. My appointment was April 2nd 7am. Had my wife drive a half hour to pick me up from Firestone on a Saturday at 7 am. I was told it wouldn't take long. They close a 6 and I hadn't heard anything from them by 5pm so I called and was told Oh sorry we didn't get to it. I asked why not again, got a snicker and an I don't know again. This was my work van and they totally did me wrong

The people at this location are super nice and very helpful. They were fast and efficient and knew what they were talking about. I dropped off both of my cars to get tire work done and break work done. No complaints at all! I called some local places before going here and was treated very rudely. The staff here at Firestone was very kind and treated me fairly.

I used to take my vehicles to a different oil change shop on Columbia Ave. Had been going there for years because they did decent work fairly cheap. New management took over and things went to hell in a handbag. The employees looked like they were working out of their own garage, and their girlfriends/wives were hanging around. When I saw the managers significant other walk into his office all I could hear was....well that's another story. I decided to find a different place to get my vehicles serviced.

I'd been to a few other places in town and finally ended up at Firestone. Now I've never had any work done here other than the standard oil changes and tire rotations.

The place is clean, the employees are in uniforms, and I'm greeted by a professional. I now get coupons in the mail for many kinds of services which makes the price even better.

A small waiting area with a television and fresh coffee makes the time go by a little faster.

It's too bad the other reviews weren't so good. The only reason I didn't 5 star them is because I haven't experienced everything they have to offer yet.

You want to hang out with the guys and their girlfriends, go down Columbia Ave. You want your oil changed by professionals in uniforms go to Firestone.

UPDATE:
Since I first Yelped about this place and rated it a 4 star, I have been back multiple times for some pretty major repairs. Because of Holly, and "that other guy" (Haha) I'm changing it to a 5 star. Their service is awesome.

I was moving across the country with my family and my wife's car had a tire blow out. I had a snow tire with me (because moving) that I needed put on so we could keep driving. These guys slipped me in and took care of it with no hassle. Very nice people thank you.

6 DAYS!

I took my work van in on a Tuesday to have the tires and shocks replaced while I was on vacation. Now I realize that the national account provider we have to use makes you jump through hoops and get approvals and such but 6 days later I will be getting said van back with the same bald tires I dropped it off with.

I now know where NOT to take my personal vehicle. I also have a story to tell everyone I know who will listen.

Zero stars.

Great and honest guys! They really took the time to thoroughly look at my car just to tell me nothing was wrong.
