We visited Finn Hill on a slow day in the late summer/fall, which turned out to be great for us. We were lucky to meet the owners, lovely father and son duo. Finn Hill was not on the winery passport, but they did honor it. (2017)
They were very generous with tasting and filled us with their wine making stories and knowledge. They had many varieties of wines, whites and reds. They even have a desert wine, which you don't see very often in this area!
We definitely felt their passion, and also like most of their wines. We went home with two white varieties. We will come back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brigid T.Everett, WA143142142Jan 25, 2016
Recently came here after purchasing a livingsocial. Finn Hill is only open on Saturdays, but has many reds and some white for tastings. Tastings are $5 and are refunded if you purchase a bottle. The tasting room has many chairs and tables. They are also next to a few other wineries and a distilleries. They are also dog friendly, which is a major plus for me. Not sure if you can bring in outside food. Worth the stop!

During a recent visit of a couple of friends in Finn Hill, I had the great pleasure of stumbling upon Finn Hill Winery. Winemaker Rob was kind enough to give us an exclusive tour of his winery.
Finn Hill Winery is a wonderful boutique winery. It is nestled in the suburbs of Finn Hill. Finn Hill Winery started when Rob's hobby of home brew wines got out of control. He has officially converted his two car garage into a fully functional licensed winery. It has all the bells and whistles to produce a wide variety of wines.
Finn Hill's Wines are harvest from grapes grown locally in Northern Washington. These grapes are hand picked and hand sorted by Rob and his crush team. Once the red grapes are crushed they are aged in oak barrels. This process can takes several months.
After our quick tour of the facility, Rob allows us to sample a few of his season's best wines. One of my favorite wines of the tour was the Finn Hill Riesling. It was a delicate, dry, and semi sweet. It was less sweeter then the standard Germany Riesling, which made it even more enjoyable.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Jillian R.Seattle, WA364289123May 21, 2013
First-time visitor at this winery off the beaten path in Woodinville. It's a little cheaper ($5) than the others on the main drag farther south and clustered in what is kind of a little strip mall with 13 other wine tasting rooms. There are more nearby farther north towards Duvall.
This one is right next to Convergence Zone Cellars and Kaella - they are all family owned and operated and incredibly friendly.
The bottles of wine all cost $18. They were refreshing but not outstanding. What made the big difference for me was that they stayed open late for us and the wine maker's son and his partner welcomed us in, talking about their family's journey in the wine world and giving us a tour of their facility.
What WAS outstanding were the complimentary taste of red wines they gave us... it was their wine "futures"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't emphasize enough how unbelievable those "future" reds were. They basically offer stock in the next batch, like a farm's CSA, and you can buy it up by the case. My friends and I are seriously considering buying a case or two of the next batch, which was fragrant, flavorful, and just... wow. I can't remember exactly what kind it was - a red blend, I think? But it reminded me of some of Earthquake's fragrant Petite Sirahs.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - John D.Marysville, WA0119Feb 17, 2019
I have traveled to Europe and throughout the United States tasting wines. Throughout all of my experiences, Finn Hill Winery's 2013 En Fleur Semillon Ice Wine was the very best I have ever had in my entire life. I sure do hope that they make another batch very soon!
