We went on this boat tour last summer and we loved it so much we went again this summer!! It's totally worth the price. Relaxing and informative. Bathrooms on board are clean. It's an amazing tour of the flathead lake. Beautiful houses to be seen. Just go...

I was in from Southern California the last week of a June. I was staying practically on the lake and how could you not take a tour on a boat?!? I had read some less than enthusiastic reviews about not being able to hear the captain over the microphone.
Which if you DO NOT sit over the engine, you hear just fine if you want.
It was a lovely excursion with the right amount of trivia sprinkled in on occasion.
      The staff was pleasant.
The views and the 'big sky' from the water were OUTSTANDING.
The price was more than reasonable for an almost two hour tour.
It really was a highlight of my stay in Lakeside.
      Thank you!!!

What a wonderful boat tour this was! From the signing in to the end of the cruise, every staff member was friendly and welcoming. Captain Dan was very good in his information given and with the added....rest of the story! He was funny, informative and entertaining. He even let you steer the boat if you wanted to. The day was wonderful and my sister and I really enjoyed being able to bring our lunch on board and relax as we viewed the beauty around us. I learned so much about the towns surrounding the lake as well as about the Flathead Indians. *I highly recommend taking time out of your day to spend some time with Far West Boat Tours on Flathead Lake!

Really boring. You couldn't hear anything that the captain was saying because the motor was so loud and the speakers insufficient. Not that the captain had anything to say to begin with. If you unable to hike or participate in activities that would enable you to see the beauty of Montana, this is the trip for you. This certainly is not geared for young and/or active individuals. We chose this trip only because we needed something just a tad relaxing from the numerous days we spent hiking on the beautiful trails in and around Glacier.

We did the Flathead boat tour at 7pm. The good: decent boat, nice info from the captain (when you could hear him), a nice way to see a small part of the west shore of Flathead lake. Time on the water is always nice. The bad: poor speaker system, tour is short (7-9), you don't actually see much but some random homes on the lakeside, the advertised "snacks" are little bags of crappy $1 chips, and it's overall rather boring. Recommend: skip it unless it's your only opportunity to get on the lake.

This is a great way to see Flathead Lake. It's a whole different perspective from the water, allowing you to see some of the beautiful homes along the shore that you could not see otherwise.

For only $22 a person for teens and adults, I think it's a great deal. It costs much more than that to rent a boat for two hours (we were a party of four).

Captain Dan was a wealth of knowledge about the area and had a great sense of humor. ;-)

Bring a cooler of drinks/beverages and enjoy the view!

Nice boat and people. I'd rather hear less about the lakeside homes and more about the ecology of the lake !

      Nice boat and people.
