Just moved here from Florida, and my hair was an absolute mess. Not only was it way overdue for coloring, i had colored the roots with a touch up myself, cut my own hair VERY poorly & had tried to lift it myself!

Easy to call them & book an appointment. I was booked with Megan, she asked me what i needed and I told her at our consultation, and she gave me a quote on the spot and we set up an appointment.

While she fixed up my hair and was blowing it out, i just kept saying "wow. WOW!" she went above and beyond, and has a repeat client for sure!!

The girls there are so sweet, fun, and talented. Definitely recommend?

Located in the Stonefield Shopping Center you can get your hair just the way you want it and then have a date night or girls night at the movies or grab a delicious dinner at one of the several restaurant options available.

Face Value has always made me feel comfortable both before and during COVID-19 protocols. A beautiful salon and everyone I have seen for hair cuts has been fantastic, especially Ashley. I have loved my haircuts there and they really take the time to understand what you're looking for. Clean, comfortable and I keep going back!

I highly recommend this salon and Bea. I had my first appointment at the salon on July 12th. Bea took the time to listen to what I what I was looking for in the cut and color. The service was both professional, friendly, and relaxing. It is expensive but she did let me know exactly what everything cost before the service and I checked other salons and actually they weren't that much higher. I love Aveda products. I had been with my last stylist for over 6yrs and was very concerned about going elsewhere but got such a bad haircut previously. Bea fixed that haircut freshened up my color and deeply conditioned my hair ...it's beautiful. I will be returning.

Do NOT go to Esther! I gave her two chances to fix the HORRIBLE balayage she did on my hair! She was beyond unprofessional when I came back to get it fixed when she told me to go get a cape. She seriously had me go fetch my own cape for her to bleach my hair. Only "fixed" half when I came back and left me with so much damage! If you are looKing for an amazing person to do your balayage go to Anna from The Cutting Edge in Charlottesville she keeps the integrity of your hair intact and her technique is amazing!

On 6/23 I had my first apt at face value salon and it was absolutely amazing! I don't travel to that side of Charlottesville much but I had final found somewhere to do my make up for my bridal shower so I was not passing that up!

When you walk in you are immediately greeted and offered coffee, calming tea or just water which is way more then anywhere offers that I have been to. I didn't get my hair done so I couldn't recommend a hair stylist but I can say all the ones around me at the time of my appointment were professional and were taking the time to get to know their clients.

Now for the fun part reviewing my artist. Yessi was my makeup artist yesterday and I will be first to admit I'm super nervous when someone does my makeup first the first time I use to go to the same person every single time I got it done. YESS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING THOUGH!!!!!! She took the time to get to know exactly what I wanted she helped to figure out ways on how to exactly do the eye make up I wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better artist. If you have a event or just want to have fun and get your make up done go here and ask for Yessi she was so kind and sweet and helped me look beautiful for my special day.

After 3 years of not getting a haircut due to bad experiences in the past, I knew it was time for a change. I am so glad I took a chance and tried out Face Value Salon - I was absolutely thrilled with my experience there! Brooke was an amazing stylist from start to finish, taking the time to listen to me and understand what I wanted. She had her work cut out for her and she did a fantastic job, using her perfectionist edge to her advantage. I am so happy with my experience and would highly recommend Face Value Salon to anyone looking for a high quality haircut in a gorgeous setting. Plus, as a student, the student discount offered was such a wonderful bonus.

I hate to give this salon a 1 because I got a really nice haircut from Becky, but the receptionist completely ruined it for me.
I was going to ask this salon to do my hair and makeup for my wedding but when I got upfront to check out the receptionist was super rude. Nope will not be coming back. I am a sales lead/supervisor with my company and I would not have hired this individual based on custom service skills.

I had a good fIrst appointment with Brooke for a cut and highlight. I wanted to book her again but she was booked, so I took an appointment with Taylor. I had blonde highlights previously but wanted to go more towards my brunette natural color. I liked the color when I left the salon, but after 2 days, the underside of my hair was turning a blonde-green color. I was very frustrated, as I followed the recommendations Taylor gave me for shampoo/conditioner/products. I called the salon and it took the manager a week to return my call. I really thought they just blew me off. After a week, the manager called and offered for Taylor to fix my hair. "Fixing" my hair just meant toning it. When I left the salon I could still see the blonde peeking through and an uneven color. I pointed this out and Taylor insisted it looked even to her, and asked me to step into the lobby light to see. She insisted again it was even and I just accepteed that I wasn't going to be happy with my hair here and left. Another few days and the underside of my hair started turning again.

I eventually had my hair fixed at Cutting Edge Salon and they got it right the first time! I am so so happy with my hair now and can't understand why two tries weren't enough for Face Value to get it right. Even if my hair did turn out thee second time, I still would not come back due to the terrible customer service from the manager.

I wanted to write to tell all what a wonderful hair cut I got from William! I just love it! I was a bit nervous having short hair that I might not like the cut I was given but love is just not a strong enough word! The whole experience was wonderful,he listened to what I wanted,he looked at my pictures and then proceeded to do his job and the outcome is fantastic! Thanks so much William, I'll see you in 6 weeks
