Most shadiest branch of euro wax ever! They charged me for an eyebrow pass when i went in for the first time and the next time I called to make an appointment, they had no record of me ever coming in, getting my eyebrows done and buying a pass yet they are charging my card for $105 for two months to pay for the pass. I had to go through my bank to block them from charging my card when they are not even recognizing me as ever coming in and buying one. Never going back and getting defrauded.

Nadia,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have tried to reach out to you via phone and Yelp pm to resolve your issue. Please know we will get to the bottom of this! - Kesha H.Dallas, TX7125133Aug 11, 2017
I've been coming to the old town EWC since I moved to Dallas about 2 years ago and I love it. I'm always in and out within 15 minutes and the waxers are all very nice. I get whomever is available and I haven't been disappointed yet. September is probably my favorite though. She keeps me talking and before I know it the wax is over.

So I came to EWC and saw Jordan and had more involved services so to speak than I normally book. Jordan was AWESOME AWESOME! She helped me relax and even laugh and joke around while she worked her magic. This place is awesome. Everything is very clean and I watched very closely. No, double dipping of the wax sticks and a clear process that prevents cross contamination. I will definitely be back.
A HUGE thanks to Jordan, you made the whole experience much better than I expected!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 23, 2014Updated review
Front desk has improved significantly. I noticed there has been a turnover these last few months. Go EWC!
Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 15, 2014Previous reviewFront desk needs to polish their customer service skills! I will get to that aspect of the review in just a bit.
Ok, so the three stars alone is for my waxer, Eleisha (I can never get the spelling right, but it's pronounced "Uh-Lay-Sha"). Although I have only been with her twice for my Brazilian, she is amazing and gets every hair. I also like that when she is finished she asks you to check everything down there and see if there are any additional spots to go over. The fact that she asks you really takes away the awkward factor of examining your cootchie in front of a waxer.
Ok, so going back to the front desk...if I could give front desk alone a rating, it would be 1.5 to 2 stars, because they are hit or miss, depending on who you interact it. Here is why:
I have been a EWC customer for close to 4 years and have been to several locations in the NYC and LA area. The front desk staff at all of these locations were always professional, friendly/bubbly (both in person and on the phone), and never pushy with the products. This is where the front desk team at the Greenville location lacks. Most of the girls are very lethargic with their attitudes and seem like they don't want to be there. I also am aware that as part of the EWC business model, the waxers need to sell products and always push them on the customers, but usually a "no thank you," or "I like my own products" seals the deal and the front desk staff lets it be. So this happened while I was being checked out and making my next appointment. The way I was treated by the front desk today was flat out nerve wracking and made me feel very uncomfortable. Almost to the point to where I may go to the North Dallas location.
After I said no to the product and explained that I have tried them before and they do not deliver what they promise, one of the girls condescendingly asked me "Well, are YOU using them correctly?" Um, REALLY? Yes, I can read a label, comprehend it, and follow the directions. How hard is it to routinely smother lotion/gel/exfoliate onto your lady parts??? I explained again that for the price-point, the products do not deliver. Following my feedback, she snarkily replies "Oh, okay (TRANSLATION: F*CK OFF, customer)" which the most sour look on her face.
Now, as someone experienced in sales and customer relations, I would think that this kind of customer feedback may be a way for a business to improve their products, not to act unprofessional and defensive because I gave you my option about a product.
And that is my rant about the front desk...hopefully their attitude can improve. They get two more chances. Three strikes and you're out! - Sally S.Easton, PA46685Jan 15, 2015
Kinda hard to find- next to Petco!
I had Jordan for Brazilian and she was great! Highly recommend! They use a patented blue self drying wax that doesn't require any cloth strips- most people find it less painful. The appointment was exactly on time too which is great.
Update: 9/2016 I also use Bianca for both eye brows and Brazilian. She is very nice, not awkward at all, and gets the job done well!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bridget B.Allen, TX791512Oct 12, 2017
I go to this wax center all the time to see Bianca. She does a fantastic job and would recommend her! I've been going for a little over a year now and will continue to do so.

This is not the most spa-like wax shop I've ever been to, but as much as I wax this is the most economical place I've found. It's like a wax factory with only 15 minutes for each appointment-dependent on how much you are waxing, of course. You are in and out quick!
Ask for Kristen! She has been the least pain-inducing waxer I've been to thus far. She's also the most thorough-going over each area twice-once in each direction so you are truly hairless. And she'll tweeze any leftovers, which is usually very few.
This location is also better than Preston. More waxers and availability....plus you can pick up your dog food next door when you leave! Try it out and say I referred you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - EJ M.San Diego, CA3204May 5, 2014
I like the wax and the cost is reasonable (well it was- they just upped their prices). What really annoys me about them is that they well punish you if you are late a few times, but when they are running late ( pretty much every other visit and I go every 2 weeks) they don't care that they have wasted your time. They offer no apologies or other compensation to make up for their poor scheduling.
Also, they don't answer their phones. I called 5 times one day around 3pm and there was no answer and of course their mailbox was full. How is that professional? They have no email listed anywhere so I had to email them through the corporate website and I never got an email back.
So they pretty much SUCK in the customer service area.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Emma G.Dallas, TX11483Feb 3, 2011
This is for the ladies. And men, I guess. But really moreso for the ladies.
I don't care if you're not a fan of waxing, because this place will change your mind. If you're like me, chain wax-haircut-massage places freak you out, but when a few women at work only had great things to say about this particular business, I figured I should try it out.
The best thing about this company is that they don't use paper strips. They use a special beeswax(ish) kind of concoctment that dries directly onto the skin - I know, I know. That description may sound more terrifying than paper, but I promise you, it's a miracle. It's about 1/4 the pain of the old style of waxing and 10x faster.
I'll stop there as to not get into too much detail, but if you've been debating between whether to get into the whole waxing thing, go here. And ask for Krystal. I tried out almost every employee, and she is by far the coolest, nicest and quickest there is.

I was neither blown away, nor completely dissappointed. The setting was very bland: cheap doctor's office at best. I was immediately leery when a business that specializes in waxing didn't offer all services for men.
The wax they used seemed incredibly outdated and of bad quality. The tech seemed to rush when her buzzer went of notifying her that her next client was there. She waxed quite a bit off my eyebrows, then plucked for what seemed to be an eternity. Then, I left with wax remnants still on my back. Not cool.
I went because I needed a waxing last minute, but I normally go to Waxing the City. They couldn't get me in on such short notice (and there's a reason why. Good places are usually booked and don't have openings.) Trust, I'll never make that mistake again. I won't be back here! If you have any sense, try Waxing the City. If they can't fit you in, try We only Wax. It's double the price, but way better than this place.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
