Elysium Healing Arts Mobile Massage & Reiki

Received a gift certificate for a 90-minute hot stone massage from my loving and understanding boyfriend. So I decided to use it while on vacation from work and school to fully appreciate it.

My massage therapist was Linda, who did not chatter too much (only to ask how I was feeling), wasn't too rough, used stones that didn't scald my skin, and worked slow and steady. My idea of a perfect massage. The knots and kinks in my shoulders weren't any match for her; she knead them away without pain or discomfort and I can walk away feeling like a million bucks.

They were having a $39/facial promotion this past weekend, so I decided to give them a try. I had a very pleasant and relaxing experience.
My esthetician was Samantha. She was very gentle and quiet, but made sure to alert me, softly, whenever she was about to put something hot on my face or do something else that might be uncomfortable. I almost fell asleep during the arm and hand massages. I felt very relaxed and rejuvenated afterward. My boyfriend also got a facial from the same esthetician, and his face looked amazing after.
The facial is normally around $80 or something, but they said if I booked a follow-up appointment in 4 weeks, my next one will only be $59.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, worse massage I've ever gotten! This place is a dump. When I arrived I was greeted with a passive manner, as if they were doing me a favor for servicing me! Then, I was escorted into some awful smelling room but figured "ok maybe they will turn on incense once they start"? they didn't.

The masseuse came in and greeted me in a very unpleasant tone, then left the room so that I could change but slammed the door so hard it vibrated the walls and a HUGE ROACH RAN ACROSS THE ROOM!! I freaked out but figured I'd be on the massage table so it can't get to me.

As I was about to get on the bed, it looked/smelled as though the sheets had been used for the last massage. I reassured myself that it's probably just oil/cream that doesn't wash out. I lay on the bed and put my head on the headrest and the smell of mold from the sheets just has me wondering if they leave the sheets in a bin overnight?

The masseuse came in and started the massage but never once asked me if the pressure was too hard or too light (it was almost like a deep tissue and made it very hard to relax). I don't know what was going on in this person's head, but once the massage was over, the masseuse simply left the room without notice!

This place is completely unprofessional and just plain disgusting. I would not recommend it to anyone. What I paid for wasn't worth this dump and you're better off going to a more expensive place that guarantees a good massage. I didn't bother letting the person at the front know (owner?) because I know most owners flip when you say something bad about their business, which is why they should have a manager to handle situations so that it doesn't get personal.

This place is a joke!

I've been to Elysium several times for different services. I received a massage from Michelle, which was out of this world! I also got an intuitive (Tarot) reading from her, which was very insightful and helped me make an important decision about a personal relationship.

I have also attended several guided meditations and workshops, which they offer there. This includes the monthly IYASHIROCHI sound bath and Faery Drumming Journey. As well as the Thursday "GONGPHORIA" sound bath. Both of which are really mind blowing!

The weekly Yoga and Tai-Chi classes are great and I also really like the Saturday morning Breathing & Guided Meditation as well.

All in all Elysium is a beautiful space and a great place to get some TLC!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing Swedish couples massage today with Rachel and Jennifer and we couldn't be happier!

They have great New Client Specials so I really recommend trying out Elysium.

We both felt incredibly relaxed and comfortable here and want to come again!!!

John and Michelle have created a very inviting environment where I can be released of the pent up knots in my back and legs from working all day. Their holistic approach makes this quite a charming business. I've been to many massage places before (very business like). This is more like a community of helpful therapists.

I'll definately be back!

A few of us girls came in for massage here the other day. From past experiences, I am very skeptical of buying massages on Groupon. When you buy groupons, they usually don't treat you as well because you aren't paying full price. This was not the case.

I am very grateful we stumbled across Elysium. My friend called and was able to book our appointments a few days in advanced. They also spared us the trouble of having to buy the Groupon, and told us they would honor that price when we came.

That day, I received a 60 minute Swedish massage. My massage therapist, Michelle, was incredible! She was extremely caring and so sweet. Taking note that I have a terrible knee, she took a bit of extra time and energy to focus on it. I would like to come back just to have her work on my knee.

I felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole massage. There was a bit of chatter outside the room at points. It really didn't bother me though. I was so relaxed, and who doesn't love the sound of laughter?

After the massage, I waited by the pool for my friend to finish her service. As we were sitting there, the new owner John chatted with us. I'm one who likes to come and hang out before and after a service. I would have loved to relax by the pool and drink tea. The place has a lot of potential, and I'm looking forward to see the new additions. I will be back soon!

Wonderful massage, conversation, and energy. Need I say more?

The room I was in was very bright and cold and the windows were open and i had to ask for an extra blanket which they didn't have - the massage itself with jenna wasn't terrible but it jus felt like she knew she had a hundred things to get done in 55 minutes so she was going to do them as fast as she could. Not relaxing at all.

My Step mom had Mary... She seemed to have had a worst experience than me- apparently Mary would not stop talking throughout the not at all relaxing massage and kept asking all about the story behind all the tattoos on her body and then abruptly sort of finished and gave her attitude cuz she didn't want to talk.. ( my set mother just had someone close to her die- part of the reason wanted her pampered) She absolutely had ended her massage way before mine and apparently when she came out she yelled at the receptionist. Hey, whatever your issue is with the people you work with is maybe say it when there aren't customers in front of you.

All in all was my groupon worth it? absolutely not.
So much for a relaxing mother daughter start of the weekend.

This is my favorite place to go to for massage.
The owners and massage therapists really care about their clients, and listen to what you say when you tell them what is wrong with your back.
I have been lots of other places where I felt they did not care about the underlying muscle pain I have, but this place really pays attention to the details.
They also are fairly priced, not grossly overpriced like other spas.

My husband and I enjoy getting massages whenever we take a vacation, although we were having a hard time finding a good place to go to locally, until now. Elysium offers a variety of services at affordable prices in a clean and peaceful environment. I appreciate that they have an online scheduling system that's simple to navigate, and that they are open everyday of the week with extended business hours, since this usually makes it easy to book same or next day appointments. This isn't the type of spa where you get to lounge around in a robe, but their reasonable rates reflect their modest, yet pleasant establishment.
