We took time out of our busy schedule on a Saturday to attend a first time home buying seminar at a Remax location in Whittier driving over an hour. Come to find out the event was canceled and we were never notified. When we arrived at the location the lights were off in the building and door was locked. We decided to ring the doorbell and waited about 1 minute until someone from the back came out. We told him what we were there for and he was clueless about that event. He then went and called someone and came back and told us that the event had been canceled until next month. We never got any type of notification through our email from Eventbrite saying the event was canceled. Very unprofessional.
