In my opinion KONAR PROPERTIES are both well maintained and well constructed. My personal favorite is ELMWOOD MANOR APARTMENTS on Lilac Drive Brighton.
This complex was the very first complex in all of Monroe County. Elmwood is both charming and nicely landscaped. In addition a Great location close to everything. An interesting small little historical point; back in the 50s and 60s some of the best MD's, Attorney's and DDS's started by living at Elmwood Manor Apartments.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Sindi Z.San Francisco, CA01Apr 25, 2019
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! The apartments are old and u can hear everything ur neighbor is saying and doing. When I had to complain about my neighbor screaming and fighting with her bf, the office told me that "I have unrealistic expectation for living". Is asking for some peace and quiet from my screaming neighbor too much to ask? Leidh wolter is the front desk lady I talked to and she laughed at me and than hung up on me when I told her that was not professional. Im not the type of person to ever ask for much or write reviews online but I felt really disrespected when all I wanted was for them to help me with my psycho neighbor. I made an account just so I could leave a review to save another person from being miserable in their own home

I had such a great time when I lived in the townhomes here - great location and nice, sizeable floor plans. Close to Highland Park where we enjoyed the Lilac Festival for many years! Security at times seems a little in question. Nothing to brag about, yet it can definitely be called home. Close to the U of R campus and many neighbors were even affiliated with the university. Not far from the 495 expressway and traffic is acceptable in the area.

My boyfriend and I lived in a one bedroom here for a year, and we really enjoyed it. We absolutely would have renewed our lease, but an expanding family just did not make that possible.
The apartments are a decent size--it was plenty of room for the two of us--and they are comparably priced. They are not sound proof, by any means, but our neighbors were very quiet and respectful, as I think are most people who live there. The apartments are clean and well-maintained, and any maintenance issues are taken care of pretty quickly. The grounds are very park-like with large, beautiful courtyards. You often forget you're living in the city. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The only real complaint I had living there was that we could smell the food our neighbors (well one neighbor in particular) was cooking. The smell would permeate our apartment, and could be very strong and disturbing. This, and the bathroom was not well ventilated, so mold grew on the walls. Aside from these issues, it really was a pleasant, nice place to live, and I would recommend it.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
