Electric Chair Tattoo

I couldn't ask for a better tattoo shop. I've been getting tattoos and piercings for the better part of 20+ years and during that time I have visited various shops across the states.

While my ex and I were still together, I had wanted to get a chest piece which was a bunch of song lyrics but I wanted it turned in to art. He had suggested I meet Chad, who had done some of his tattoo as well as others in his life. I figured it was worth a shot. What Chad came up with was a pure work of art and I get more compliments on it than any other tattoo I have. I love being able to tell my story of how I fought for my life.

So, when I was ready for another tattoo, I didn't hesitate to call Electric Chair and book an appointment with Chad. He never disappoints and I can't wait for more tattoos in my future. He's an awesome dude who genuinely cares for his clients.

The shop is always clean, fun to hang out in, and everyone is cool to chill with. Not to mention, there is just a lot of cool artwork hanging about.

Since it's near my place and a friend wanted her first tattoo, I went and checked this place out. Very cool inside, I love all the oddities here. They have cool artwork all over and friendly people. Took my friend for her tattoo and Jake Miller was so cool that I scheduled an appointment for myself, even though I splurged on ink somewhere else. The girl that works the counter is a sweetie too. Talented artists, piercer was friendly too. Highly recommend this place!

The clio location is my favorite by far, their tattoo artist are all very talented and I have always gone to see Devery for my piercings and he is very good and always easy to talk to as he does the piercing. 10/10 recommend seeing anyone at this electric chair for your piercing or tattoo needs.

I can't say the same about the flint location, I didn't have the same experience. At the flint location the woman at the desk was rude, didn't really help, made us wait for 20 minutes before even talking to us, the the tattoo artist was rude didn't talk at all while doing the tattoo and way over priced the tattoo. I don't recommend the flint location.

I LOVE the clio location and will continue to go.

A high quality tattoo shop!

Art is the best tattoo artist- I would recommend him to anyone. He's a true artist. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly and professional, willing to go the extra mile to ensure that clients have the best experience possible, whether they be tattoo novices or have their bodies covered in ink.

One of the best tattoo shops for miles. If you want a portrait, black & gray, new school or cover-up, this place is probably your best bet in the area. Prices are on par with other shops in the area and the quality of work rivals that of larger studios in metro Detroit. Aside from tattooing, the piercers are professional and their work is reasonably priced as well. Apart from high quality artistry and originality, the artists are helpful in instructing clients about placement of tattoos, pain level, time duration necessary for each piece, and how the tattoo healing process will evolve.

I've had several tattoos done here (by Art) and have been pleased with the final results every time. For anyone looking to get a tattoo for the first-time, this is probably the best shop in Genesee County for that. The staff is great, making everyone feel at ease, whether they're a first-timer or a hardcore tattoo fan.

I LOVE Chad from Electric Chair Tattoo in Clio. He is an awesome guy with a great personality, and does amazing work. He has a lighter hand than most tattoo artists, so even big pieces are tolerable. He makes you laugh the entire time, and he is really fast!!! He got me in on a day he normally has off, and has done an amazing tattoo on both my boyfriend and I. He definitely has a lifetime customer in both of us!!
