I've been coming here for over 20 years (damn I'm old!) great place, little hidden gem; family owned for decades. You have to come here and get the nachos!!! Nothing like you've ever tasted!! I came with a group of about 15 people. We had one server and she did an outstanding job! All our food came out fast, fresh, and correct the first time. The total price for us all to eat was very cheap too!

I went here at the request of someone else. I got a chicken taco, bean toastada, and chicken taquito. The taco was inedible because by the time I got it, it was so soggy that the tortilla was mush and fell apart when I attempted to pick it up. The taquito wasn't terrible. Just chicken inside, nothing else like peppers or anything at all. If it weren't for the runny guac, it would've been really dry. The guac, was runny. And the toastada was alright, but the beans weren't seasoned at all.
I just... uck. I've been here before, and would've never chosen to go here but it was someone elses birthday so I happily obliged. Inside I knew... oh I knew what was coming. And it made me sad that I was correct.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 441546298Feb 8, 2011
Outstanding authentic California-Mexican food. This place has been around since the early 1980's. All the food is excellent.
One of their best dishes is tostadas compuesta. For some reason this is a dish I have seen on very few menus. If you like a nice hearty Tostada, this is like one on steroids.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Martin C.Clovis, CA4624Jan 28, 2016Updated review

We like to try new restaurants so purchased a dealsaver after seeing this was under new ownership. We ordered and the server noticed I had the dealsaver app open, she said she couldn't use it on my phone because the barcode is long and thin vs square when printed. She wanted it printed. (Sorry I live in the 21st century.) After waiting more than 30 minutes for our food she came to refill drinks. We tried to explain she could put the numbers in her "square" reader as many other restaurants have done. She would not even try! So we left. Don't know how the food is but the "waitress" was not likable!!!!
