El Pollo Norteno

Delicious, amazing food. I love their tri-tip and chicken. The tomato salsa is pretty bomb!

I had not been here in awhile but this was a fave growing up! I must say .. it tasted different to me. The tri tip def did :/ I enjoyed my burrito but it was not amazing . I remember the tri tip being juicy , I felt it was dry.

Great prices . I got a burrito (tri tip) and large Jamaica for less than 15 bucks!!!

Place looks the same as I remember. Super clean. Bright yellow and green ! Uff the memories! I had two tias that worked here when they were teens. I remember visiting them when I was a kid and looking up to them. I wanted to be a cashier when I grew up ! Oh kid memories!


Great service! I love that this place is a great deal, spotless , has so much parking and great service ! I still come back for a quick /cheap meal! 3.4 /5 stars ! Nostalgia and great service will keep me coming back :)

We order at my office for our Friday lunch 1 they did not. Delivery the food and on top of this they wold not remake our food they had said we had to pay again why would I pay again for food that re did we never received DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR And I refuse to support this business

My go to order is the family meal pack. One time I stopped by just for myself and I tried their pollo bowl...keep in mind the chicken they use in the chicken bowl is not the same as the typical grilled chicken you get with the plates. Because of that, I don't recommend the pollo bowl.

I legit can just drink their salsa up... it's that good. It's very tomato-y and there's no heat to it - it's all flavor. I personally love it.

The rice and beans are mid but I don't care about that because the grilled chicken and tri-tip are all that matters here! SO GOOD!

The restaurant is such a cute vibe too. Good service and good decor.

And I have to say, I ate here all the time growing up so I feel like this spot is an Oxnard staple. I partly love it here so much because of the nostalgia, all the memories of my grandpa bringing home el pollo norteno on a Friday night.

I liked the burritos at this place but not when I find sharp metal inside the chicken burrito. Makes me sick to my stomach thinking about the conditions of this establishment if things like this falls into the food. Very likely the last time; I or any one in my family orders from this location.

The 3 ladies working today on Halloween were hustling it out taking orders in person, through the phone and what I'm assuming were online orders. The phone would not stop ringing, and the kitchen staff was hard at work also. I've worked in the restaurant business before and know how much pressure those busy evenings are. They handled it like champs and I just wanted to acknowledge their work. The food is delicious as well. I've been coming to Pollo Norteño since I was a kid and will continue supporting this business. Highly recommend :)

Pollo Norteño is a must!! Great quality of food and value. I have been there frequently and the quality is consistent which is important.

It's the worst chicken in town. Managing staff don't care about the customer as they are just there to collect.

Restaurant conditions are really bad to dine in, wont recommended it.
