The meat that we ordered on our tortas was definitely a cheap version of asada and alpastor I do NOT recommend

Can't complain to much about the barbacoa tacos probably the only good thing I had here

If you want authentic, I think this place is pretty close if not legit! I dont want to completely say it is since I am no connoisseur of authentic Mexican food.
We were driving by after a long day of bargain shopping and had to stop somewhere immediately to eat. We decided on Mexican food and I noticed a lot of cars out front, so we stopped here.
It looked small on the outside but had two side rooms for dining. We had no idea what to do or where to go. So we sat down at a table. after a little bit, a server came to greet us. They were pretty packed in here in the room we sat in. I noticed the opposite room but wasn't sure if it was full over there. We were the only non Hispanic people in here. I love it!
Our waitress spoke even less than minimal english. Always a great sign!!! =D I asked a couple of questions about the menu and she found a worker there that could answer me.
The salsa and chips were fresh and tasty. We wanted something more spicy and she brought out this big bowl of spicy sauce. Ahhhhmaaaazzzing!!!! I believe all their sauces are house made and the chips tasted freshly fried.
Food: fajita steak tacos - good.
al pastor torta- sooo freaking delicious! we gobbled it all up and ordered a second one to go. It was huge and filling for about $7. Great price for great food and the amount! We even bought a bottle of the salsa as well.

It was just a little confusing. Our waitress didn't say much to us of course. So we sat around for a while waiting for our bill. Finally I asked the same guy who answered my menu questions from earlier. He confirmed, I go up to the register to pay my bill. So by the time I got up there, they had our food boxed up and sauce freshly bottled and sealed.

Even though there was definite language barrier, and the place is in an unsavory area, I love the food and will definitely be hitting up this place again!

Not authentic Mexican food. It leans more towards Tex-Mex, now. Mediocre food and service. Service was slow and inattentive for the few tables that were occupied.
Food: Let's start with the salsa (if you can even call it that). It is basically marinara sauce with a kick. No. Next, the torta cubana is smaller than it was a couple of years ago. Not only is it smaller, but they cut back on the amount of ingredients it comes with. Are they cutting back? ...Inflation? Also, they have added American cheese to it. I couldn't taste anything but the overwhelming, plastic cheese. I had to send it back to have it removed.
Another dish that was ordered came with beans and tortillas. The beans come with shredded cheese (Tex-Mex). One of the tortillas needed a great amount of strength to tear. We questioned what the tortillas from this place could be made of after trying to tear it with a good amount of strength. Decided to completely avoid them.

I cannot return to this restaurant, nor recommend it. Authentic Mexican food is not what was served.
