he staff is definately of Mexican descent - knew the menu and the items very well. Quick service and friendly too.
The food was well prepared and hot when received. Prices were good/reasonable as well. Being that it was Sunday, no margaritas were available (local alcohol laws), but beer/wine were available.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason S.Killeen, TX4189148Mar 1, 2017
The food was good wth a full plate. The sweet tea was great. The establishment was nice, clean and well maintained. The server was professional. I gave four stars not because of anything this establishment did or didn't do, it's mainly because I'm picky when it comes to Mexican restaurants. Overall, if I ever head this way, I will definitely will come back.

Oh my......I love love love Chile Verde. Rice with queso. The enchiladas with BOTH sauces...It's a little dirty, but all of the locations are. Great prices, lots of college kids. Fast service.
Don't forget the queso. Please put it on your rice. For me? Please?
I used to eat here twice a week. Sadly, no more, as I don't live there anymore.
This is my least favourite location. The one on 165 in Monroe is better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - GldnLadee L.Ruston, LA1313May 9, 2017
Too bad the taste of the food did not match the nice Mexican decor inside the restaurant. The food was bland but worse was the sub par service we received from our waiter. It seemed as if our waiter had a definite problem. I'll leave it at that. Needless to say I chalk this place up as another of the establishments I will NEVER set foot in again.

Horrible service we walk in and they instantly act weird because my husband is in a wheelchair and acting like they can't seat us in an empty restaurant and then as soon as our butts hit the seat the lady is pressuring us to order and she repeatedly came back like four times within six minutes and kept rushing us to pick something so we leave a five on the table to pay for one soda I ordered and the waitress chases us out the door accusing us of not paying for the drink don't go here

Ok so it's hard to get to . (Off the beaten path )
Menu is large ... The name of the place is Chile Verde . Funny , since they don't even offer chile verde as I was hoping after a 10 hour trip on the road . Saw it on Yelp and decided to give it a try ...
Now the good news , get over the ho hum service as the server wasn't Mr. Personality but he nailed our order and was very accommodating .
I ordered the carne asada (holding my breath ) . It was excellent , tender and very well marinated . They make their own tortillas and hot sauce . . I'm pretty hard on restaurants ... The food is fresh and good , Above average for all the crap Mexican food dives that are out there ... Beer is very very cold .
Give this place a try ... I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back if I'm in the area .Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alicia B.Altamonte Springs, FL01818May 5, 2016
What a wonderful place to spend Cinco de Mayo! There were tons of festivities for the kids and fun decorations. The queso blanco is delicious and addictive. The margaritas are nice and strong. And the chicken burrito was excellent. I would recommend this to anyone looking for good Mexican food in the area.

I ate here twice before I talked to my friend who has SEEN the kitchen, I choose not to go there anymore. They said the kitchen was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY and that they had wouldn't even let their DOG eat there . And this is someone who ADORES Mexican food .
Granted the food IS delicious and the service is wonderful but since I know the kitchen is filthy, I don't think I'll be going here anymore.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John W.West Monroe, LA012Nov 1, 2017

I placed an order over the phone for pickup. I ordered 2 nachos and 1 cheese dip. My bill was over $40. The large cheese sauce was over $11 and each nacho was $14.99. I asked for the vegetables for one nacho to be placed on the side. That was an additional $0.50. This restaurant has went up on their prices recently. They gave me 2 very small salsas to go with my meal. I asked for another small one and they wanted to charge $2. This will be my last call in order to this restaurant. Ridiculous prices for food that is just ok!!!
