El Charito

This is by far the best Restaurant I've ever ate at , the food was amazing and we had a young waiter he was super fast and courteous, we both got the chicken fajitas dinner it was enough for two people... it was packed people were standing outside.. I would give it a ten star if I could the waiter worked his tail off and he smiled when he received a big tip! will definitely go back!!! thanks team! your number 1 above all

It's okay I mean I travel a lot and live in a place where you get authentic food and it's too Americanized for me personally. The purpose of our food is to have people try something that they can't make at home. I'm just being picky at this point because of my travels and where I live but it's nothing I would rave about! Like I said it's okay!

This by far is my favorite place in the world to eat. The food is amazing. I've ate here for the past 6 years and I've never once had a problem with my food or experience. It really has a authentic Mexican feel. The staff is very friendly and has an overall feel of friendship that comes along with the visit. If you are trying mexican food for the first time I suggest this place over any.

Found in the strip mall in town, this Mexican restaurant offers the typical Tex-Mex food you would expect, but where it exceeds is its service. I was very impressed with the servers at El Charito. They were always checking to make sure our waters were filled, our chip bowl was fully stocked, and that we were satisfied with our meal. Our server was pleasant and informative about any questions we had on the menu. They really create a feeling of being at home. You can tell this is a family business. I would definitely go to El Charito again.

I prefer this one at Village Center way more than the others. The steak sandwich is simply amazing, Enchiladas Supreme is my favorite dinner, could eat it every day. Staff is always courteous aside from the guy at register from time to time, but anyone would get frustrated at the speed they ring people up. Overall reccomended

I wanted some Mexican food while in town. Local hotel advertised this location. Upon arrival we were seated. Not very busy. Upon being seated by a waiter, we were asked if we would like something to drink. I asked for an Horchata and was told they don't have that. So my daughter and I asked for sweet tea instead. After looking at the menu, I couldn't find a torta. Waiter came back and asked for a torta, once agin was told they don't have it. Steered me to get a chicken sandwich. At this point I was disappointed that a MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT does have Horchata or tortas! In that case it's not real Mexican.
I ended up ordering Chori Pollo. I will say the food was brought out very fast and it did taste good.

Fast seating and good service, although sometimes I wait a while to get my check. Free refills and chips/salsa. Extensive menu selections, but I found 2 favorite items that I prefer, like the tacos de carne asada. Enchiladas are good. I didn't like the steak ranchero. Fried ice cream was good, but did not have flan the one time I tried to order. They offer alcoholic beverages. They have free wifi. Pretty standard.

Always a great choice. Friendly staff and fresh food, guac is a little runny , but the flavor is great. fajitas here never disappoint! My favorite stop in Harlan.
