Prompt service. Perfect level of fancy for the aquarium. Kind and responsive wait staff. Delicious food options.

Super impressed.
I wasn't expecting much, considering this place is inside the World Aquarium. I expected the usual fare at inglated.prices, but instead we got good value and tasty food.

My wife and I shared the mixed grill, which at $15 offers a small filet with gorgonzola sauce, a chicken breast, 3 grilled shrimp on a skewer and some grilled veggies.
The meats were all cooked well, seasoned just right and had nice grill marks
The gorgonzola sauce was creamy and not overpowering. Even the veggies had nice grill marks and were buttery and delicious.

The kids had mac and cheese (meh, but mu son liked it) and the chicken tenders (crunchy, well seasoned batter and tender chicken with crispy fries).

So, if you get hungry at the Aquarium, do yourself a favor and skip the cafe and snack bar and come here!

Decided to try 1801 after walking around the Dallas world aquarium. Wow. It was a great decision! My husband and I tried the grill mix together. Just great. Everything from the meat to the shrimp to the veggies had the grilled taste and wasn't soggy or overly salted. A great dish to share or enjoy alone if you want surf and turf. My kids had the chicken tenders and mac and cheese. Another hit. Not overly salty again and tasted like you would get at a nice big Cafe. Not over cooked. Not burnt. Makes me think I could enjoy the grilled cheese and mini cheeseburger from the kids menu. When we come back to the DWA, this is definitely a stop!

If you find yourself at the Dallas World Aquarium, give this place a try. Tasty affordable food. They never disappoint when I'm visiting the aquarium with the family. I'm deducting 1 star because sometimes the wait is long for the food to come out. Menu is not bad. They have actual meals not just finger foods.

Ate lunch here while visiting the aquarium. The food was delicious. I had the Caribbean Chicken Club. It was served with fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend eating here!

In a world of money grab experienced, this place does not serve food you would expect to find in an aquarium. It is more than worth the price of the food you get. I would choose to eat at this restaurant and pay more that what they charge if this restaurant was out of the aquarium. Go eat here.

The food was amazing, the staff helped keep the nieces and nephews entertained. We apparently got there right before they closed but instead of being annoyed, they were so kind. They didn't even get mad when the kids tried to help take the decorations and salt and pepper off of the table....lol they let them help. I would definitely go back here!

I would recommend this place! The food was very good and I liked the feel of it. And the price was affordable. I liked it a lot.

From a family of picky eaters. this place was good in a pinch like when your kids are getting on your nerves because they are starving and cant enjoy the sharks until they ate $12 kids meal and wasted most of it.

Very impressed not only with how fast the service was (noon on saturday) but also how great the food was presented. Quality is amazing, customer service is great.
