Dr. Edward L.
Dr. Edward Loev has been practicing the art of dentistry since 1969 and continues to provide the finest quality dental care to San Francisco residents. He attended Penn State University for his undergraduate degree and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he earned his DMD (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry). Dr. Loev graduated from Dental School during the Vietnam conflict and decided to serve his country as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corp. During his three years of service he was mostly based off the coast of Vietnam and in Okinawa. Dr. Loev visited California as a young man prior to entering dental school and loved it, often dreaming of returning. The military facilitated his dream and his final duty post was on Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. While remaining in the Naval reserves he moved to San Francisco and established a thriving downtown practice in the 450 Sutter Medical Building in the Union Square/ Financial district. Dr. Loev very much enjoyed caring for his patients and after 15 years of general practice was introduced to the enticing and advancing art of cosmetic dentistry. He quickly became obsessed with "smile design," and transforming patients smiles and in some cases their whole lives through cosmetic dentistry. ...

They are the best, they always explain what procedures they are doing during your appointments and always make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed. They are following all the new Covid 19 protocols and making sure we all are safe!
I do recommend doctor Loev 100%!

Patient for over 25 years and just found out (through another dentist in the building) that Dr Loev has retired and the office has closed but was never notified. I hope Dr Heinic finds another great place to work. Disappointing that they have not notified their patients about this as had just called a month ago about my April appointment and nothing was said. They did take good care of my teeth for many years and I wish Dr Loev the best in retirement.

I've been going to Dr. Loev's practice for over 10 years. I've been to many high quality dental practices, but Dr. Loev's is the best. Not only is it the best dental practice I've been to, but it also has the most breathtaking views of San Francisco, sitting atop the 24th floor of 450 Sutter. Highly recommend!

Also everyone is really friendly and nice, the dentist was so gentle doing the work honestly the best dentist and service I have ever had.

I came to this office half year ago and I knew that I have to do a major work. I am one of those patients who is afraid to go to the dentist but not with dr. Loev. I always want to smile when leave his office. I feel So welcome every time I come in for my appointment. The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to miss Beth who is assisting dr Loev. Miss Oleina who takes care of the booking and billing. I am very happy that I made a stop at this office the other day and found one of my favorite doc.!
